Over Under is a casino card game with a layout similar to poker and gameplay similar to Blackjack. It is neither of these games though and is in fact much simpler and arguably easier to learn. This doesn’t detract from the excitement though, as this is a very addictive and fast-paced casino game.
How to play Over Under
The green bar above the cards counts the overall value of your impending hand. You’re first job is to place a bet on whether this hand will be under 42, over 42 or equal to 42. To do this choose a chip from the ones in the bottom corner and then place it on one of the aforementioned betting options (you can use different chips, or combinations of there of, to create a more specific bet).
The game can then be played and you’ll watch as 4 cards are dealt onto the table in turn. As this happens the total increases and is shown next to the green bar. All cards carry their exact value; face cards are worth 10 and Aces are worth 11. It’s at this time you’ll know if you’ve predicted correctly.
Prizes are paid based on a preset odds based return. This is shown in the top left hand corner; betting correctly on over pays x2, under pays x2 and betting correctly on equal pays x5. This multiplier is applied to your chip value if you predict correctly.
