It can be pretty scary if you think about people getting alienated from their fellow humans, but it’s something that can become quite fascinating as well. 

Otaku’s Heaven is a video slot that aims to represent a great environment for having fun with gadgets and manga characters. Does it pull it off?

Theme

Otaku’s Heaven is definitely set in the room of a computer geek. There’s a computer screen right next to the reels on the right side while on the left there’s a manga girl dressed in a rather provocative half schoolgirl and half callgirl outfit. 

That character is animated and her movement does add a nice touch to the whole atmosphere. The background music is rather silly, but thankfully it can be turned off at any time. However, when you turn off the music the sound effects will become inaudible as well and that can be quite frustrating.

The game has five reels and three rows, with a total of 20 paylines available. The symbols are pretty much what you would expect considering the theme: a game console complete with controller, a gaming headset and a pile of comic books.
