Also marketed under its Italian title, I Moschettieri, Musketeers is an adventuresome five-reel, three-line slot from Italian design company Capecod Gaming. Based on the classic Alexandre Dumas novel The Three Musketeers, this game features many of the celebrated heroes and villains of the original story: d’Artagnan, Cardinal Richielieu, and the man in the iron mask are among them. With three unique bonus features, two wild symbols, and the feel of a true epic, this one is not to be missed.

Theme

Though set in the 17th century, this 1844 novel is as Romantic as stories get. Fitting, then, that the reels are set against a glorious landscape in sunset, and that the epic sound design creates a suspense reminiscent of a major Hollywood film. Gaming symbols include the villian, Cardinal Richelieu, Queen Anne, a gleaming crown, the beautiful and deadly Milady de Winter, who acts as wild, and the hero musketeers, Aramis, Pathos, Athos, and newcomer d’Artagnan, the last of whom acts as expanding wild, filling an entire reel with a flourish of his blade. The set of symbols is completed by the hat-wearing playing card values king through jack, and the necklace and carriage scatter symbols, which open the door to bonus play.

Finally, the Carriages Bonus follows the appearance of five equine scatter symbols on the reels. Players are given five attempts to predict which carriages will appear on the road: those drawn by white horses, or those drawn by black ones. For each correct prediction, a payout is awarded.
