With sci-fi themes on rise there are plenty of different styles and types of games explored. This EYECON slot is probably the first one to draw inspiration from the start of last century..and do it in a style that will be sure to enthral you.

Despite the old look, this is a game fully aimed at mobile markets. It’s not devoid of modern features, whether that’s with paylines or specials. Galactic Girls is a game worth checking out for these reasons and many more.

Theme and Symbols

As said, the grainy look captures the style used in comics perfectly. To this, you can add some pin-up girls, who are our heroes taking on the alien threats found on the reels. A few simple animations spice up things a bit, though we’d really wished for a bit more complex animations given the theme. The music and sound effects are pretty jazzy and upbeat. And of course, there are a couple of ufos to fly around!

Betting Options and Functions

Five reels with six symbols each, and ways to win in use. This means that adjacent symbols can combine into winning combinations through 7776 different ways. The RTP stands above 96.6% meaning that you can expect some pretty decent returns.

...but then, why are most of the wins so small? In fact, all wins are below your total bet. During the basic spins this can still result in some nice surprises if you are lucky enough to score the wins in a few dozen or hundred ways at a go...otherwise you do need one of the many specials...

Features

Three emblems anywhere on the reels will trigger ten bonus spins. During these spins you get to collect the Galactic Girls. At the end of the bonus spins you are awarded bonus games, based on the completed collections. These will trigger the following features:

Each of the girls is associated with one of the bonuses. All of these features come with different sort of modifiers, whether that’s more high-value symbols, extra wilds, expanding reels, multipliers that go as high as x100, or other bonuses that lead to those big wins that the normal reels are missing.

Our Take

EYECON took some time to find their own unique style, but now that they have it they are certainly pushing out the sort of games that you can’t find from other publishers. What’s more, they always do it with good RTPs and the sort of wins that you like to land. 

True enough, how the big wins form here will take some getting used to, but you’ll get the gist of it sooner or later. Go help the girls help the galaxy!
