Fantastic 7’s is one of the original classic slots from Microgaming. It’s old-school layout would be at home in any 90s land based casino, arcade or bar in terms of design. The jackpot however is strictly Vegas because it’s maximum payout is an impressive $12,500.

Fantastic 7’s Slot Theme

The designers have picked a timeless blue background which surrounds the reels and paytable. A psychedelic trio of 7’s line up in front of the Fantastic 7 logo, this pays the top prize if you manage to do the same on the reels.

There are six reel icon designs which you will have seen on many other classic slots. These include cherry, bar, b x2, bar x3, red 7 and fantastic 7. The icons will not animate when a win is paid but the paytable does flash to show how much has been won.

Reel sounds, tunes and win jingles are also recycled from the rest of the range. This gives it a traditional feel, and as such each sound effect is very much in keeping with the rest of the slot.

Betting Options and More Functions

Bets are controlled by choosing a coin value and number of coins per play. You can choose from 0.25, 0.50, 1, 2 or 5 in $/€/£ and place 1, 2 or 3 coins on the payline. The prizes available are reliant on the number of coins in play at that time. This is reflected on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd columns of the paytable.

Fantastic 7 Slot Features

There are no modern day slot features because this is a classic three reel slot. That said we would have loved to a wild feature as on other Microgaming slots, but it was not to be.

Our Take on Fantastic 7’s

It’s hard to get away from the fact that the graphics, theme and general gameplay on Fantastic 7 is dull as ditch water. The lack of features doesn’t help either and it’s one redeeming quality is the calibre of prizes on offer, which are fairly sizable for a classic slot.
