What do you get when you combine the concepts of energy and fruits? A slot with a background picture of energy and reels full of classic fruits symbols. Energy Fruits doesn’t in fact seem to be any different from another BeeFee slot Stunning Hot. Perhaps the variance is lower? Or Higher? Hard to tell since apart from the theme everything seems to be exactly the same.
Theme
Electricity surrounds the reels, though not in animated form. This further reinforces my believe that this was a training piece for the Stunning Hot slot. Hues of blue and white lightning run through the reels. All the symbols are part of the classic setup: stars, sevens, plums, cherries, melons, oranges, lemons, and grapes.
Betting Options and Functions
The five paylines are fixed. You can still decide the bet level, and there’s plenty of chances to effect the game here. Via the simple dial chooser on the right-hand side of the screen, you can go as low as 0.01 to as high as 10 coins per pay line.
The bet level you choose of course affects the payouts. Though they offer out the same ratio the maximum win requires maximum bet. Two cherries will pay out five times your line bet, but otherwise, at least three symbol minimum is required. The biggest win comes with five sevens, which will pay out five thousand times your line bet. The basic payout seems to be between 50 and 200 times your stake.
Features
The only feature available is the card gamble. After a winning spin, you get to choose whether you collect or gamble and if you gamble you need to choose between red or black card. Right guess will result in doubling the pot and a new chance to gamble, the wrong choice will result in losing the win.
Though the game does record which card was drawn last do not take this as any kind of note on probabilities: it’s always a 50 - 50 chance between red or black. You can gamble quite a few times in succession, but in the end, the odds are against you. Choose carefully and you might be able to grab a hoard of coins or lose it all.
Our Take
If you’re into high variance slots with classic themes then there isn’t really a reason not to give this one spin. Though nothing differentiates it from similar slots, even by the same producer, there’s no reason not to go in with full bet and aim for the 50 000 coins you get from five sevens in a row. But, be careful as there can be quite a few spins between winning ones, and your bankroll will dwindle to nothing in no time.
