We here at LCB are proud to present you one of the prettiest games released in 2011 – Slotland’s “Enchanted Gems”, a game that will truly make you forget all about time and place, and take you to a wondrous, colorful world which you will never want to leave.
We all know that Slotland always strives to introduce admirable new titles, even though not all of them are always affordable for all types of players. With this five-reel, 25-payline slot’s bling and wealth of graphics, it has managed to make us forget all about spending money, which is one of its perils. “Enchanted Gems” also involves wonderful music, which players surely won’t mind, as it is pacifying and unaggressive. Such great music fantastically accompanies the sparkly gems theme, which also involves reels that change color, an adorable fairy that enchants the reels, blinking dollar symbols, horseshoes, bells, sevens, and other luck-related symbols.
Yet, in this extraordinary slot you don’t simply get special features in the base game – you collect gems in order to trigger special features which include a Wild Bonus, Free Spins and a Pick the Bloom Game. Some of the features bring quite decent prizes, but what you win also depends on how much you risk through your preferred bet amount. Speaking of which, the choice is neither plentiful (as in the majority of slots), nor narrow (as often happens in Slotland’s titles) – there are coin denominations going from 5 to 50 cents, which means that the lowest bet amount on the maximum number of line is $1.25. Still, it’s worth noting that the highly desirable jackpot can be won only on bet amounts higher than $5 – when you hit five dollar symbols along an active payline.
Special Features:
As mentioned above, the special features in “Enchanted Gems” are not typical – you need to earn them throughout the base game by collecting three types of gems, one for each special feature.
Three yellow gems will start the Wild Bonus, in which the fairy will turn one symbol wild three spins in a row. As attractive as this may sound, this feature is not really generous (one can really feel the lack of multipliers in it) and only minor prizes are usually won in it. Still, these gems are most common to collect, so it’s no wonder this feature is a bit stingier than the other two.
Free spins require five purple gems, which will award you with five free spins, which unfortunately have no multiplier, either. The prizes in it are somewhat more rewarding, but the real treat comes only with the third feature, which is the hardest one to get. Pick The Bloom Game will start when you collect seven orange gems from the reels. If you manage to do this (it may take hours of playing, but at least the gems you collected are remembered, so you can leave the game and retry your luck with it later on), you will see all the symbols replaced by blooms, seven of which you’ll be able to choose and reveal multipliers of your last bet – some hefty prizes await here, so it’s worth the wait.
The general impression left by this game is that it really justifies its name – it enchants, keeps players interested and driven to collect the gems, spinning the reels over and over again. And this is the major reason why it deserves our warm recommendation!
