Theme
The game opens up with a view somewhere in deep space, with unknwon planets filling the the endless space. The sci-fi theme extends to the symbols, though some of those have received a bit of inspiration from the classics as well. The sound effects are something else altogether, as is the music. You hardly ever run into this kind of quality outside music slots. The graphical look is of pure quality as well, even though there aren’t any animations at play.
Betting Options and Functions
This slot comes with ten paylines and five reels. This means that the reels aren’t cluttered, and they are easy to keep track of. Not that it matters given that these games are always random, but it’s still nice to know what is going on.
The betting starts from 0.10 coins per spin and gives plenty of possible choices until topping out at 100 coins per spin. There are seven normal symbols, and these pay out between 4 and 150 times your line bet. Not the highest possible payouts, but good enough when combined with the special features.
Features
The wild shows up on the middle reels only. When a wild lands it first expands throughout the reel and then rewards the player with a re-spin. The wilds remain on the reels for the respin. More wilds mean more re-spins. Up to three re-spins can be obtained this way, and once they are through the game continues as is normal.
Each wild can land as a normal one, or with an attached multiplier that can double or triple the prize combination. The multipliers are calculated individually, meaning that you can get a maximum multiplier of nine if a payline has three wilds.
Our Take
Like Starburst, this game trusts in simplicity. It’s hard to say if the game can compete with the Net Ent classic though, as it doesn’t really offer anything new in this sense. On the other hand, whatever it does it does with impeccable style. One of the better Play’n Go slots to come out recently.
In fact, the game offers such a good collection of desirable qualities that there is no point comparing the game to any other slot. It’s just simple fun with some features that might just surprise you. If not sure, try in demo mode, but definitely give this slot a try in any case.
