Even though it comes from an Australian company, Big Rig is actually as American as it can be. We can’t really think of anyone who hasn’t dreamed of being behind a wheel of a huge eighteen wheeler… roaming the open roads and legendary Route 66.

NuWorks has come up with Big Rig, a online slot game based on big American trucks, and our main protagonist even looks a little like the later version of Optimus Prime from the Transformers movie franchise.

Theme

Even though it was released way back in 2013, Big Rig still holds its ground against much newer games.

When you load the game, you will be greeted by yellow reels, placed within a chrome metal plated frame, while in the background you will see a view of a open road, somewhere in the deserts… It’s quite poetic, actually, and all the symbols also do it justice in terms of design.

A game that’s grown quite popular over the years features the usual poker symbols as th lower value ones, but even these are executed wonderfully, as they appear to be chrome plated.

Aside from these, the game is also graced with some of the symbols that follow the theme much more closely and as such, they have a greater value. They include a radio station, a dog, a diner, and a truck driver with chromed shades.

To top it all off, there are “B-I-G” and “R-I-G” symbols, appearing as if they are worn out traffic signs, and they serve to trigger some really cool bonus features.

Betting Options and Other Functions

Over here you don’t have anything you wouldn’t find on most newer online slot games, so there are 25 selectable paylines, spread across the five reels.

You can also adjust the amount of bets you want to place, and it can range from 0.01 to 1.00. The maximum bet is therefore 25.00, but there is also a separate button for this function, in case you don’t want to indulge in too much math.
