The Battlefield series of First Person Shooters is perhaps one of the most popular brands of games to exists...and that is not what this slot is about, thankfully as it would be very hard to make a slot game that would in any ways be up to the standard.

Instead, the game takes a more general approach to the subject, however macabre it may be. So, as the soldiers fire on the enemy, you are free to roll the reels and seek out a better winning connection to score a victory!

Theme and Symbols

Dreamtech has set the reels on a fictional battleground, or battlefield, and added some quite impressive action scenes into the background. You’ll find grenades, soldiers, aid kits, and all sorts of other matching symbols on the reels, amongst some teched-up playing cards. Sound effects are a bit violent, fitting the theme. Overall, this is more of a video game than a rendition of the true horrors, and quite well-done at that.

Betting Options and Functions

Three symbols can be found on all five reels, and through these you can find twenty lines of advance, or paylines, on which three to five symbols can form winning combinations. Quite a familiar setup, no?

The different combinations require matching symbols, and offer wins between 1000 times your line bet for the best five symbol combo, and three times the line bet for your least valuable three symbol combo. It’s a sort of a winner takes it all -situation, but that’s a given with this theme.

Features

During normal spins the sticky wilds show up on all but the first reel. The symbol will lock in place for up to five spins, with the actual number revealed by the stock of ammunition the soldier brings to the field of battle.

The main feature comes in the form of bonus spins. Three or more scatters will trigger ten of these, and that’s all you’re going to get at one go, so make the most of them. Instead of sticky wilds, these spins come with multiplier wilds, and an increased chance of landing them. Your 1000 times the line bet just became 10 000 times the line bet win.

Our Take

It’s actually quite a rare theme that Dreamtech Gaming has tackled here. There are plenty of games that go for fantasy fighting as a theme, or Viking raiders and such, but not many that take on the modern battlefield. And truth be told, it’s not macabre at all, just like a video game shooter or any fun little game. We recommend you give it a go!
