Alcatraz

Alcatraz, aka the Rock, is a former US prison situated off the coast of San Francisco. It was widely regarded as the toughest place to be incarcerated because no escapee ever made it to shore alive. This is a three reel video slot which is themed around Alcatraz with far more favorable returns of up to $10,000.

Alcatraz Theme

The slot appears in front of the impenetrable walls of Alcatraz prison, a former civil war fort which was later transformed into a prison. You can see see six inmates making a break for it on the left side of the screen whilst directly opposite lie three reels. The rest of the space is used for key information on wagers, line bets and play buttons. You can easily access the paytable to view detailed information on payouts too.

You'll find various prison and crime related icons on the reels. These include prisoners, bag of cash, paper money, leg irons and federal bank icons.

Betting Options and More Functions

There are three paylines which are activated by playing one, two or three coins respectively. These coin values range from 0.50 to 2 which means total bets range from 0.50 to £/$/€6.

Alcatraz Slot Features

The leg iron/ball and chain icon is the only one which will award a prize when one appears in any position on the payline. All other icons require three icons on the payline to award a prize.

There aren't any wilds, scatters or free spin icons. Despite this we weren't too disappointed because this is a three reel slot, so you shouldn't really expect additional features.

Our Take on Alcatraz

We like the theme and assume by the slew of recent documentaries, books and TV shows based on the Rock that others will too. We'd have liked a few more features but appreciate the prizes, as would you if awarded the whopping $10,000 maximum jackpot.
