STHLM Gaming
STHLM Gaming simply designs and builds online casino slots. Many other companies are expanding to cover every possible field so it's nice to find one that is concentrating solely on the games. The company was found in 2016 and they have a steady plan of ramping up their game production. They have made some deals already, and will surely seek to do more. The company might not be available widely at the moment, but this seems to be changing at a fast pace.
In 2017 the company released one slot, in 2018 two, and plans to release six in 2019 and nine in 2020. The games concentrate on high volatility, simplicity, and quality. The latter means both better graphics as well as a better user interface. All games will be playable on all devices, be that mobile phones, desktops, or tablets. Sthlm, and this is a wild guess, is a reference to Stockholm where the company is situated.
What is the track record so far?
At the time of writing the company had just a handful of games out and a few with previews out. It’s very easy to tell that the background is one of the things that has received a lot of attention. No more static pictures, welcome animated backgrounds on all devices.
Sounds and graphics seem to be great all-around. The slots have a variety of special features and wins that err on the side of high variety. The small and medium wins from these slots tend to be quite negligible. The big wins and combinations require the bonus features to fire, though there is some room for a few casual spins as well. It all looks good going forward.
A small-timer from Sweden
Sweden seems to be a hotbed for slot development. Who could deny that Net Entertainment is not the biggest and baddest in the industry? Sthlm Gaming is a really small fry when compared to that. Luckily, they are a fresh company with plenty of visibility. A small development company might be able to bring way more innovation into the play than the big inflexible companies.
Then there is the fact that with so much talent in iGaming industry concentrated on Sweden means that the company has plenty of potential partners for future expansions. We will see how this pans out.
