SkyRocket Entertainment
Skyrocket Entertainment is something of an odd bird, being more of a media company than a gambling one. The company was launched glamorously in 2018 in the Cannes festival. What makes it stand out is obvious then: the media brand, which has given it plenty of rights to produce branded slots.
Yet, the company began its operations with normal slots, acquiring The Games Company, famous for its high-quality slots. This also gave the company access to licenses in Gibraltar and the UK. The company is picking up space, and it might well bring a whole new world of entertainment to the world of iGaming.
From film and media into slots
As said, the company already has its own line of classic slots available, through the acquisition of The Games Company (link leads to our sister site). But what about the movies and TV shows and other media products they are looking to turn into branded games?
There are already quite a few branded slots, but nothing like this. Usually, the problem is getting the licenses, with some companies unwilling to relinquish them, and others demanding too much money for it. In this case, the company already holds the licenses, which means that all we need to do is wait for them to start publishing.
Here are a few of the films and series you can expect to see:
- Rambo
- Day of the Dead
- London has fallen
- The Expendables
- The Legend of Hercules
- The Crow
As you can see, this is quite a prestigious list of movies, and there are hundreds of others that fit the bill as well.
Expanding into other fields of gaming
At the time of writing the company is just launching their products, but from what we know their ambitions go far beyond simple slots gaming. Besides these, they are looking to expand into bingo games, scratch cards and lottery products, and no doubt into table games as well. And why not, as they certainly have a product that already has an established base of fans.
