Don Laughlin's Riverside Resort Hotel & Casino, more commonly known simply as, Riverside Hotel & Casino is one of the premiere gaming destinations in Laughlin, Nevada and sits right on the banks of the breathtaking Colorado River. With 76,000 square feet of gaming space, the size of this casino rivals many of its Vegas counterparts and offers an overall experience that is second-to-none. This location originally opened in 1966 and has undergone a myriad of expansions and renovations, including the building of a thirty story hotel tower in 1994 that is the largest tower in all of Laughlin to this day. In addition to the Gaming and the Hotel, this resort features a number of other attractions, including Laughlin's only bowling center, equipped with the latest digital scoring equipment and thirty two lanes with state-of-the-art lights and sound. This location also has a large antique car collection and antique slot collection which should be of great interest to buyers and gawkers alike. This resort isn't just for adults, though, it is also a perfect family-friendly location with a plethora of activities for the kids, as well! Kids will enjoy Don's Kid Kastle, which features a video game center, soft play center, skill-based center, move center and snacks! This is conveniently open from 4:00p-10:00p Mon-Thursday, 4:00p-Midnight Fri, Noon-Midnight Saturday and Noon-10:00p on Sunday. There are also two separate arcades that feature the highest-rated arcade games in the country! Can there be more? This resort says: YES! It also features a six-screen movie theater showing the latest in kid-friendly as well as PG-13 and R movies. If that's not enough, hop aboard the USS Riverside and take a guided river tour around the city of Laughlin, or, rent your own watercraft at Wave Runners and explore for yourself. As one would expect from such a resort, it is also an ideal location for meetings, weddings and banquets with catering available. Gaming

The Riverside features well over 1300 total slot, video poker and video keno machines across the property and these include the newest and greatest of the games on the market today. Amongst the slot machines are Wheel of Fortune, Monopoly and MegaBucks. This location also divides its gaming into separate sections which are sure to offer great comfort to all types of players. The main casino and Casino West combine for the majority of the machines, but the South Tower is a non-smokers paradise, and unlike most that feature a paltry 20-30 machines, this smoke-free haven houses 270 games as well as a smoke-free bar! The High-Limit room is known as the, "Winners Lounge," and features fifty machines with denominations ranging from $1-$10 and $5 Wheel of Fortune machines with state-wide linked Progressives! In general, Laughlin is not necessarily the best location for the video poker enthusiast with Aquarius out-classing just about everywhere else in terms of having generous paytables, but this casino is comparable with the rest of Laughlin. It offers 99.73% Not-So-Ugly-Ducks Deuces Wild at $1, $2 and $5 denominations as well as full-pay Jacks or Better for $1, $5 or $10 which returns 99.54%. This casino is also home to Bingo Paradise, which is a 330 seat Bingo Room that has seven sessions daily every two hours beginning at 9:00a with exceptions being 7:30p and 11:00p. The Bingo Paradise includes a full-service bar and deli, so this resort is an ideal destination for the Bingo enthusiast. This casino has now merged its Sports Book with South Point Casino in Las Vegas in order to offer better odds on sports and horse racing bets. The book comprises 5,000 square feet, is located adjacent to the bowling center for our convenience and has 24 50" (or bigger) HDTV's for your viewing pleasure. Hotel/Accommodations

The 1,405 room hotel is home to a pool at the South Tower as well as the luxurious Riverside Day Spa where guests can enjoy spa treatments or a massage. It is also home to the All About Me Hair & Nail Salon. This resort has another swimming pool elsewhere on the property as well as a Jacuzzi. There are also pet friendly rooms, but the resort asks that you call directly to book those. There are a wide-variety of rooms available including Standard Rooms and Riverview Rooms, with the Riverview Rooms costing marginally more but offering a breathtaking view of the scenic Colorado River. There are also mini-executive and executive rooms with varying amenities as well as an RV Park should you prefer to drive in to the resort.

Dining

The Gourmet Room and Lounge is classy, yet understated, and provides a breathtaking view of the Colorado River. After enjoying a drink at the lounge, move on to the restaurant and enjoy some of the finest French gourmet offerings prepared right beside your table! The Prime Rib Room offers slow-cooked and well-seasoned Prime Rib which is carved and served tableside. The rest of the menu is predominantly American food and this location is open from 4:00-9:00p Sun-Thurs and 4:00p-10:00p Fridays and Saturdays. The Riverview Restaurant is a 24-hour ultra-casual, yet comfortable, location that features American food staples. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner are available around the clock. Sure to be one of the best in Laughlin, if not the very best, the Riverview Buffet features a contemporary design theme and overlooks (as the name would imply) the beautiful Colorado River. It will serve breakfast, lunch and dinner and, while not open at the time of this writing, is expected to open in early-2015. Casa Serrano * El Palacio Restaurant & Cantina features a variety of traditional Mexican dishes and drinks with contemporary twists. It is open from 10:00a-9:00p Sun-Thursday and 10:00a-10:00p on weekends. The Sidewalk Café is a deli-style café perfect for grab-and-go foods and beverages. It is open 24/7. The Food Court features a few eateries including Cinnabon with Seattle's Best Coffee, Pizza Hut Express and Dreyer's, which is a premier ice cream eatery. Finally, Fat Burger is fast food on steroids...tasty, tasty, steroids. Slap a fried egg or two on top of that 1.5 lb XXXL Burger, and you won't feel hungry again for awhile!

Entertainment/Nightlife

In addition to the many venues, such as the watersports, water tours, arcades and bowling discussed earlier, there are a variety of other entertainment options and the Riverside Resort & Casino. The Riverside Resort Ampitheater features tremendous head-lining acts at various times throughout the year while Don's Celebrity Theater features a wide-variety of shows, musicals and comedy, with tickets and showtimes available on the website.
