Binion's Gambling Hall & Hotel

You can thank Texan Gambler, Benny Binion for this establishment. He purchased the property in 1951 with providing a quality gaming experience in mind. The Horseshoe Club became the hotspot as the first gambling hall and saloon in downtown Las Vegas that catered to higrollers with no limit tables. Eventually, Benny purchased the Boulder Club next door while his son’s bought the Mint Hotel which increased the size of the venue known today as Binion’s Gambling Hall & Hotel. TLC Casino Enterprises acquired the casino in March 2008. It’s now the perfect spot for anyone looking for a nostalgic piece of old Vegas.

Gaming

In a 90,000 square foot space, Binion’s has roughly 1416 slot machines including jackpot slots such as Quick Hit Platinum, Fireball, Hot Shot Frenzy, and 77777 Jackpot. With regard to table games, Binion’s offers three major games which include Blackjack, Craps and Roulette and four varieties of poker such as Progressive 3 Card Poker, Let-It-Ride, Texas Bonus Hold'em, and Pai Gow. Binion’s Hall of Fame Poker Room features No Limit tournaments daily. The poker room holds 10 tables featuring a $4 rake on all cash games. Take advantage of the perks you’ll receive while playing in the poker room like $2 comps for every hour of live poker played, tableside food service and even special pricing for hotel rooms. The room also has a full service bar, video poker and several TV’s around mounted. Binion’s also brings sportsbetting to players with a sportsbook operated by Club Cal-Neva.

Hotel/Accommodations

Unfortunately, Binion’s hotel has closed. The days of the glamorous Horseshoe Club have gone but will never be forgotten. Binion’s owner, TLC also owns the Four Queen across the street and Binion’s sends their guests to their hotel which is much larger with twice as many rooms.

Dining

There are four establishments to choose from when you’re ready to take a break from gambling and stop for a bite to eat. Top of Binion’s Steakhouse is a gourmet restaurant that offers a view of the Las Vegas Valley from the 24th floor. The design is meant to transport guests to another time, a time when Vegas was magical. The cuisine is as upscale as the service with everything from filet mignon, prime rib, a selection of fish and the signature dish, Chicken Fired Lobster. The standard of dress is business casual and they are open daily from 5:30pm until 10:30pm. Binion’s Deli is located next to the Hall of Fame Poker Room. Sandwiches are made to order from 12:00pm until 8:30pm. For another casual spot, stop by Binion’s Cafe for a burger 24 hours per day. They are located on the main floor of the casino. Benny’s Bullpen Sports Bar & Cigar Lounge is a saloon featuring a full service bar, food, a fine selection of beers and cigars, TV’s to watch sporting events and even video poker. Hours vary daily but they are open until 1:00am every day.

Entertainment/Nightlife

For private events, Binion’s has The Longhorn Room. The space can accommodate a maximum of 480 people for cocktail parties or whatever you need. The rest of the entertainment and nightlife can be directly on the casino floor!
