Harrah's Casino Lake Charles

No longer in lake Charles but truly missed.

The Lake Charles location been closed for years after it was hit by a hurricane that should probably be updated. But New Orleans and Shreveport still going and busy as ever! Enjoy both.

This is a great place I like to go a couple of times a year just because it’s not too long of a drive it’s fun and pretty spacious

Ive been to this Harrahs casino 1 time its been years but remember the trip well. We stayed at a smaller independent hotel not far from it . Was cheaper at the time and we weren't planning on being in the room other than to snooze a bit before leaving next day . The casino itself was nice ...It didn't have the large luster...

Ive been to this Harrahs casino 1 time its been years but remember the trip well. We stayed at a smaller independent hotel not far from it . Was cheaper at the time and we weren't planning on being in the room other than to snooze a bit before leaving next day . The casino itself was nice ...It didn't have the large luster or intrigue as some Harrahs Ive been to . Because being in Lake Charles the state laws there are that the casinos have to be built on and as floating barges ...unlike like say the Harrahs in Tahoe . Therefore to the eye its not quite the same and you have that bit of rumbling noise and you can sense its on a barge . If you've ever been in one of these casinos you know the difference Im talking about. Other than that it was very nice upkept well and played very well. The slots seemed pretty loose at least on that day . Had several small wins , more than enough to out weigh the bad ones . All in all was a very good day . Its a great place to go hit a land casino, as for the location nothing else to do around there and the view ...well there really isn't any. So if gambling is your thing and you are close by give it a try.
