Eldorado Casino

Originally opened in 1961 as Wheel Casino, the property was acquired by the Boyd family and reopened as Eldorado Casino. Boyd Gaming casinos are found all over the United States and are a popular destination among gamblers. The casino is a decent size and features plenty of games, dining and entertainment. It is part of the Water Street District which is full of smaller casinos and hidden treasures.

Gaming

More than 430 casino Slots fill the gaming floor from classic Slots to your favorite Video Slots. Popular games include Life of Luxury, Wild Wolf, Vegas Hits, Monopoly and Cashman games. Dice games are not available at the casino but there are a number of Table Games to be played including Blackjack, 3 Card Poker and Roulette with low table minimums. There are 12 TV’s in the Sportsbook which offers great odds on a variety of sporting events. They will accept all Coast Casino and Boyd Gaming sports tickets. There is also a Keno lounge and Bingo sessions every day accept for Monday.

Hotel/Accommodations

Spend the day or evening in the casino but you will have to find a place to sleep. There is not hotel onsite but Henderson is full of them. The only issue will be deciding where to stay and finding transportation to Eldorado. Some nearby hotels in Henderson include Americas Best Value Inn Henderson, Hawthorn Inn & Suites Henderson, Fiesta Henderson Station Casino Hotel, Comfort Inn & Suites or Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites.

Dining

There are three dining options available at the casino. Mariana’s is open Friday and Saturday from 4pm to 10pm serving a variety of Mexican specialties, cocktails and beer. The Cafe seats 200 and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Cafe is open Sunday through Thursday from 6am to 10pm and Friday through Saturday from 6am to midnight. Finally, the Snack Bar is open daily from 12pm to 11:45pm. This is the place to stop for a no frills quick snack on your way to the next slot or table. They serve a selection of snacks and drinks.

Entertainment/Nightlife

Tequila Falls is a Poker Bar that claims to have one heck of a margarita. TV’s are scattered around the room in addition to $0.25 progressive poker machines. Drop the under 21’s off at the arcade where there are many pinball and video games available. Events are held in a comfortable lounge at the casino. The casino website lists all the upcoming events and tickets may be purchases online.
