Oaks Card Club

The Oaks is considered one of the oldest and largest card clubs in northern Cali and named after the Oakland Oaks of the old Pacific Coast baseball league since the 1890's. Should you win big at the tables there’s no need to worry about getting to your car safely. The club has security staff on hand in the parking lot 24 hours a day. If you’d rather valet, this option is also available. From this spot you are just about an hour away from just about anywhere in the entire Bay Area.

Gaming

The casino floor itself was expanded from its original state and now features 40 high action tables and they’re open around the clock every day. There are a numbers of Table Games played among the tables including Texas Hold-em, Omaha Hi-Lo, Stud Poker, Lowball, and Pan. There are also several California Games including Double Hand Poker, Pai Gow tiles, Pure 21.5 Blackjack, Baccarat Gold, and Three Card Poker. Sports fan? There are big screen TV’s all around the room so you’ll never miss a moment of the game. All card games are dealt by the House Dealer except player dealt lowball games. Now here’s where it gets interesting. The Oaks is not involved in the games played. You won’t ever be betting against the house here. Their purpose is to provide a place for players to play their favorite games and they collect a rental fee from players for the use of their facility and the services provided. The rental fee is may be paid per hand drop or based on the length of time you wish to play.

So it probably comes as no surprise that there is no hotel on site. Dining

The Oaks Corner Hof-Brau & Grill serves a variety of dining options from Hof-Brau to shrimp chow mein, sandwiches, burgers and even a full breakfast menu. Enjoy a cold beer or a glass of wine from the region. The environment is very casual with TV’s around the room. Happy Hour offers drink specials, appetizer deals and hot buttered popcorn.

Entertainment/Nightlife

Since you basically rent the place, that in itself is the entertainment and the reason you visit. There aren’t any Vegas style shows but the activities you’ll find in the Bay Area are endless. Just an hour’s drive and you are there.

Rewards/Deals

Tournaments typically take place 5 days per week. Aside from these events there is no player rewards program at this time.
