Gilpin Casino

This is actually a really great place to visit and is located in a perfect area in Black Hawk, Colorado. There are a number of casinos located just less than a mile away so you can take advantage of, not only the gaming that Gilpin has to offer, but the others as well. This casino is fairly small, but they pack a big punch. They offer some of the latest and most entertaining games. There is one restaurant and a snack bar on site. No hotel is provided, but this is where the luxury of being so close to so many other options comes in. Enjoy the games they have to offer and when the sun goes down, check out the entertainment you can find elsewhere and stay the night just minutes away.

Gaming

Like many of the casinos in Black Hawk, Gilpin highlights a variety of Slots, Video Poker and Table Games. This 24 hour spot boasts some of the friendliest dealers, and such a wide range of games that there is sure to be something for every player. An array of denominations are available and machines to look forward to include: Diamonds and Diamonds, Lovely Outlaws, Cherry Mischief, Crazy Chameleons, White Falls and so many more. Some of the newest and most popular games are offered here. In addition, they have a full Table Game pit area, including one Craps table, a Roulette wheel, and three Blackjack tables. Hotel Accommodations

Gilpin does not currently offer any hotel accommodations to guests. However, for guests that are traveling and are interested in staying the night in town, there are a number of hotels within a short distance from this location. These options include: The Lodge Casino, Ameristar Casino Resort Spa, Isle Casino Hotel, After Supper Bed and Breakfast, Chase Creek Bed and Breakfast and more. Each of these locations is less than a mile away, is affordable and many of them offer their own casino action so you can take advantage of all of them!

Dining

There is one full-service restaurant on the property, along with one quick bite option. Lucille Malone’s Restaurant offers a variety of American dishes. They have a wide selection of sandwiches, burgers and chicken entrees. The menu also features down-home meals, seafood and grilled meat options. Make sure to try their famous Big T’s Rub on any of their meats. You’ll also find a salad bar and a variety of homemade dressings and soups. To spice things up, they have a unique Taco Cart. It’s open Saturday and Sunday from 3pm to 3am. Choose from a variety of loaded tacos for just $1.50 each. You can even get the delicious frozen Choco Taco treat!

Entertainment/Nightlife

This casino features an exciting variety of promotions and offers on a regular basis to ensure that there is never a dull moment during your visit. Aside from this, however, there is not much else offered when it comes to entertainment and nightlife opportunities. Keep in mind that there are tons of casinos within walking distance from Gilpin and they have their own entertainment to offer.
