Studio City Macau opened its doors in October 2015 and boasts “Asia’s Entertainment Capital”. Is it glamorous? Yes. The most noticeable aspect of the building is the golden ferris wheel that has been constructed right into the hotel! A partnership between an American investment firm and a Hong Kong based entertainment company resulted in this fascinating new property. Everything one could need from gambling, restaurants, shows, shopping and more is available all in one place. Owned by Melco Crown Entertainment, additional properties include City of Dreams and Altira.

Gaming

The gaming floor is draped in red and gold and features numerous Slots in many denominations. Bets as low as HK$0.05 are available on a variety of electronic gaming machines featuring exciting themes, bonuses and progressive jackpots. The casino offers the latest games to its players. Restaurants range from casual to fine with a variety of cuisine available including Chinese and international. Sit down and enjoy a meal or opt for a quick bite on the go. For a break from all the action, check the Cabana and Premiere bars. For something much livelier hang out in the Pacha Macau nightclub. The Warner Bros Fun Zone is a fun arcade experience for kids and adults. Try the Macau Gourmet Walk for a taste of Macau all under one roof.

Entertainment/Nightlife

There is actually a figure 8 ferris wheel built into the hotel, yes literally. Upon the opening of the casino, it was the highest in the world at 130 meters. If you’re interested in taking a ride, note that there is a fee for adults and children with discounted rates for seniors. Just when you thought you’d be back on the ground, Studio City has yet another ride in store for you with Batman Dark Flight, a flight simulation ride. The Studio City Event Center is where special events and concerts take place.
