Casino de Chatelaillon-Plage

Chatelaillon-Plage is a commune in the department of Charente-Maritime in the former province of Aunis, in south-western France. Locals are called Chatelaillonnais or Chatelaillonaises. Walk along the shores of the south Atlantic coast, or if you prefer your water-activities a bit more contained, there’s the Aquatic Centre with its indoor and outdoor pools, Jacuzzis and water-slides. After frequenting the centre, beach, bars and restaurants, head into the casino for a session of cards and slots.

Dine in The Eiffel, with its specialty dishes and seafood plates, open daily during summer months, and closed Sundays during the rest of the year. Menu items include roasted duck breast, mixed grill of the sea and an Earth-Sea salad. About half a kilometre out, you can find Les Flots, a maritime bistro overlooking the beach. Another seafood restaurant would be L’Acadie St-Victor. Another option would be the Michelin-star rated Ibis. Back in the hotel, you can find a restaurant with meals created from select fresh local produce, or opt for light eats.

Attractions/NightLife

In the casino, near the slots, find all your favourite cocktails in The Eiffel Restaurant. The casino also runs various entertainment like retro nights, DJ-spun tunes and live music. Other venues in and around the area inclide Le Snooker, J.A.M., and Le Minim’s, ideal for dancing. Music venues include Beausejour. During days head to the beaches for activities like sunning, swimming, sailing and kite-surfing. Consider leisurely strolls along the shores, also great for moonlit romantic walks. If you’re a fan of architecture, both historical and cultural, try the Beausejour Centre, dating back to the 19th century.
