Casino du Cap d' Agde

Cap d’Agde is a seaside resort in the commune d’Agde, bordered by the Mediterranean, and situated at the foot of Mont Saint-Loup. With its harbour and marina it draws people interested in various water based leisure activities. Wives, watch your husbands! The region is a popular nudist escape, one of the largest naturist sites in the world, with hotels, residences and camping sites catering to the activity. The large family-style naturists resort sees around 40,000 people daily during peak season. Now might be the time to hit the tanning beds or put down that extra piece of cake. Village Naturists, while accessible to the public, is also its own self-contained town (referred to as ‘Naked City’). Nudity is legal and prevalent across the entire resort, even in the restaurants and shops, so be mindful when visiting. Note, there’s a daily tax issued per person/per day. In the naturist resort, there’s 2 km of beach, a large marina, shopping, dining, hotel, apartment complexea, night clubs and bars, and a 2500 pitch camp site. With such buildings as a post office, laundry mat, hairdresser and bank (around 100 businesses in total) it really is a town unto itself. The largest feature in the village is the Heliopolis, a 4 storey apartment complex with a supermarket and shopping centre on the ground floor. Also found, are a swimming pool, tennis courts and play area.

Gaming

The casino provides a fleet of 180 classic and video slot machines and video poker terminals (60 incl.) ranging in denominations and beginning at 10 am. For table games, you can find 3 blackjack, 6 Boule, 1 chemin de fer, 2 English roulette, 3 French roulette and 1 Texas Hold’em poker table. Table games open at 9 pm. After long days out in the hot sun (exposing all your naughty bits to the elements) some relaxing time indoors may be just what the doctor ordered.

Stay at the Hotel Alhambra, located steps from the beach and in the heart of Cap Agde. They offer 24 comfortable rooms equipped with air conditioning and views of either the port of Cap Agde and the Island of Marinas, or of the footpath leading to Richelieu Beach. Be sure while here to ask staff about all the attractions in and around the area, dining venues and where the best night life can be found.

Dine in the casino brasserie bar Meno Park, or in one of several nearby venues which include L’Adagio with its modern cuisine and creative fish dishes, Vogue, serving classic and traditional cuisine, Le Bistrot D’Herve, serving up Provencal fare, and 2 Wine. Tour town picking out your own favourite eateries based on budget or menu or have hotel and casino staff provide you with their own recommendations.

Attractions/NightLife

Head to Purple Lounge for cocktails and live concerts or one of the assorted bars in town like Le Glamour with its ‘sexy’ dress code, Le Tantra, a couples only bar, Le Pharon (caution: swingers club), Nanou’s Tang’Eau, a ‘sex’-disco, La Feline, an S and M Club with dress code in effect (we don’t mean suits and heels unless its leather and stilettos) and Melrose Café, a musical bar. Unless it’s your cup of tea, be sure to read up on the bars and clubs you visit. There are 10 swingers clubs in and around Cap D’Agde. If you limit your nudity to art try the Musee de l’Ephebe, with its nude bronze statue l’Ephebe d’Agde’, formerly held in the Louvre. Other attractions include Arena Cape, Aqualand and the beaches.
