Spain and England in the World Cup

I didn't find anything here about the two big surprises:Spain and England are out from the World Cup.I think this is a little bit shocking...Spain won the last World Cup in 2010 and Euro 2012.Can't wait to see what Germany does.I think this is the most interesting World Cup.What do you think?

Spain seemed set to fail, an old team, the same tactics as 10 years ago, some things can't last forever.

As for England, I was hoping for more to be honest, especially since Hodgson finally decided to call up more young players.

Germany are always good, even when they play badly they seem to reach the semi finals :)

I like the Netherlands, a young team apart their few stars, and Belgium as well.

Yes, Belgium has a great team.I forgot about Italy...I think this is the first World Cup final :D This is going to be a great football game

Italy and England are out of the world cup while Costa Rica and Uruguay go through, i would like to know what the odds where on that lol. aswell as spain losing to holland 5-1

Yes, my two biggest surprises were Spain and Costa Rica. I also really like Belgium; I hope they'll do well.

The problem with the England squad:

Too many non-English in the Premier League teams which leaves us deflated when it comes to tournaments like this one.  The top players in the premiership will only play for their own country. 

Not enough "resources" are out there for bringing on good young English players to get to the premiership teams and go on to be picked for England. 

Disappointed but not unexpected result tbh.

Yeah im disappointed in England. I'm all up for Holland now :) Robin Van Persie!!

So Portugal and Italy are gone too...I think this is the most interesting World Cup I've ever seen.Let's see what happens next

England has sold its soul . U get commentators like Hansen crying every Sat night about **** defending from Gary Medel of Cardiff . Or Brian Ruiz  of Fulham is so lazy . These so called **** players can walk tall and be proud after what they did for their country.

English FA knows there are to many oversea players, but their pockets are lined up so they don't give a ***

Example : Frank Lampard, Chelsea shirt = GOD .  England shirt = Where is he?

Oversea players carry him , bit like Steve Mc Manaman for Real Madrid . They enhanced his potential , take him out of that surrounding 50% of the player.

I saw a replay of England vs Germany 1990 the other night. England were the better side that night and would have whooped most of today  squad. Why ? less oversea players + less money + endorsement.

Alan Hanson is the most boring Pundit on the planet, he just kills the mood whenever he talks.. lol. I think We need to focus on using british talent in the premier league.. most other countries like germany spain etc, the majority of their players come from the country of their nationality, so they have alot more to choose from
