    I was really impressed by what google did (for those who don't know you can find it here https://onetoday.google.com).

    So deal about it is that for example you can put 10$ shop item who would directly (if it's possible) donate money to google's oneday action. This is simmiral as Kiva, but I think at this moment way more important.

    Would like to hear feedback from both users and administrators of LCB.

    Nice idea.  Only Admin would know if it could work as they would be passing on the donation.

    Yes I know that. Probably best thing would be if you could pass this idea to head admin / programer, since I don't know how it works. I mean, its 1:1 donation, as much as community pays google doubles that.

    I wish there was something that was less controversial than KIVA...I have seen many articles online about how dubious loaning the world's disadvantaged money at high interest rates--which KIVA does do without dispute--can't their be a link to donate to a straightforward charity like CARE or something of that nature?

    I know I can just donate on my own from my paypal or perhaps even from my skrill account, but I think it would be an advantage to facilitate giving on LCB if their was a option for a shop  item other than Kiva when the charitable impulse hits...

    While Kiva may truly help  some, when people are really terribly desperate and in need (like refugees for example) they are in no position in the world to take a loan or commit to repaying it as their situation is far too unstable
    Including refugee help of course...
