yeah, I was expecting that he will get higher flush on the river and, woah, st8 flush for me  ;D I hope that room will finally give me some money that they owe me  ;D

  • Hahah lovely river.  I bet your opponent was gutted.  Very nice hand Sommi and about time too  :-bd

  • How unlucky on this "run it twice" hand - check it out HERE

  • This is a 1c/2c cash game - check out the sickest bad beat I've seen in a long time HERE

  • 27o vs AA pre has like 12% to win - so it's not so bad, when you said that's the sickest bad beat I though quads will lose to backdoor str8 flush or something like that  ;D

yeah  ;) T9s had 0.1% to win...  LOL 1:1000  LOL and still.. over 1,7k € won. That just had to hurt!

  • Do you think Player 4 thought he'd made his straight or just trying to buy the pot?  €1/€2 - No Limit Texas Hold'em csh game.  See it here

  • Definitely a bluff (well, he actually had to bluff at this board), as there could be a flush of diamonds, it was pretty obvious that BB's hand isn't too strong as he didn't cbet on turn (with a hand like set/overpair he wouldn't slowplay to see another d. on the river), still he checked river OOP when that diamond showed up so he definitely had no flush (as he just had to bet it if he hit it - else there's a chance that he won't get more value from AJ etc., trap with river flush would be pretty silly..) Nice bluff then, in my opinion.

  • Check out this lovely featured hand from Jorge Limon HERE.  This is a $5/$10 - No Limit Texas Hold'em cash game.

I guess someone had one drink too much...  ;)

  • Nothing can beat a pair of deuces :D

  • LOL  He sure did.  All in, bottom pair hehehe

  • The following hand has been voted as a bad beat.  See it HERE.  What are your thoughts on it being a bad beat?

  • 44 > AKo PF of course (56%/44%) but I hate losing my AK to such low pairs. If they think that losing AK vs low pair is a bad beat then they should read our bad beats topic  LOL

  • How this one ;)! Was a shorty of under 10bbs so not the worst all in ever. http://www.boomplayer.com/poker-hands/Boom/7562665_72522B5921

  • Well, it's just an early stage freeroll so it doesn't really matter but if it would be a decent tournament then I wouldn't shove T8s while being UTG+2 as there is a huge chance that you will get a call (especially if it's pretty cheap to call it). Even J2o has higher chance to win  ;) It's better to steal pots with any ace, even A2o has like 30% chance to win vs KK-.

  • Very lucky!

How does j2 off have better chance of winning over 108 suited? with 108 suited I can make straight flush, flush, multiple different straights,2 pairs and pair my 10 or 8 for a single pair.. j2 off the only thing you are likely to get is a pair or jacks with crap kicker or pair of 2s which is easily beatable. Under 10 bbs dude and no action behind? It is an easy shove! Had there been a raiser behind it's a fold.

Well. J2o vs T8s pre-flop all in is:

    51.13% for J2o to win;

    47.52% for T8s to win;

    1.34% for tie.

If none of you has a pocket pair than always higher chances to win has a person with higher cards.  ;) T8s is way better hand to play post flop but it's not if you go all-in pre-flop.

Well, you were UTG+2 which is still an early position. Trying to steal pot with hand like that would be fine but while being MP2+ with no limpers/open bets. It was not an easy shove, to be honest, it was more a bingo style  ;D There were still 6 people in position and UTG+1, huge chances that you get a call and as I said - T high is a really weak hand pre-flop.

If i remember rightly I was getting really really bad hands that tournament it was the best I had seen for ages limping it ain't a good plan either though because that just means an even easier call for the villains when I do decide to ship it. Have seen people go all in with much worse than that and win suited one gapper no good hands for ages ship it! Perhaps not if it was for good money but it is a freeroll man and stars software seems to let underdog win so much.

  • This flop is guaranteed to give action for all 4 players.  Check it out HERE

Yeah me too.  I really thought it would come but surprisingly it didn't.  It's a great action hand though for all involved.

  • Play of the week from Mikhail "innerpsy" Shalamov -  It's a $2.50/$5 cash game. View here

Do you think this hand deserves "play of the week" title?

This hand by the same player is a better "play of the week" hand imho.

  • Well, I've never played NL500, my friend plays NL200 and sometimes make hero calles with something like QJ high. I used to make few calls for like $30 with just AJ high which usually were winning pots but it's pretty much "gambling hard"  ;D

By the way: it's good that I folded my QQ :P

All in with 23 off?  Holey Moley.  I thought I saw it all!  I don't understand how you can play so much poker with donks like this.  I give you a lot of credit.

  • I like to load up the NL2000 tables at MG sometimes and just watch what is going on at the tables - I can't imagine ever reaching that level myself, but hey, I can dream :)

  • I'd never like to play NL2000... Even NL100 was so stressful for me...  :P

  • A very good fold for all the wrong reasons.  How can this idiot go all the way with 23 off!  What's the matter with them....unless they have some "inside information"?

Anyone can explain my that hero call?  LOL

  • LOL errr....no I can't explain it.    Nice win for you though; I bet you'd like them to call like that all day long.

  • Oh yeah, KK vs KK vs AA. Only at pokerstar  ;)

Holy Cow.  That's all I can say.  I gotta agree with blue, what a good fold.  Must have been really hard to do.

  • King Rag suited kicks butt on the river see it here  I like this hand.

PokerStars should add a feature "Run it 1000 times"  LOL

  • Wow.  That was pretty incredible.  A 1000 times you say - aces would probably still lose every hand.

  • Check out this  pot of the week

  • I'm pretty sure that if I had those 44 and there would be just a single 4 at flop then I'd get a split vs those AA  LOL

  • With your luck Sommi, I think you probably would LOL
