  • My hope is that IBAS will be looking into that. However, after all is said and done, *IF* it's not in your favor, id request to see what they did to come to their conclusion, and if that wasn't reviewed, appeal and request it, and last resort, manufacturer. Anyone else?

  • Well, things like this happened to me a few times. I don't know if a reason was my connection or they just had some kind of problem with their server, for example - I was plaing my last spin in Starburst ($0.50 bet, I had $0.50 left in my account), it was dead spin but I clicked "spin" one more time. And even my balance was 0.00 it still worked, I hit 2 wilds and lots of BARs  grin I was like "what the hell, I had no cash to pay for this spin and I'm going to win like $200?" but no, it just showed me a result of this spin and that's all, although it should pay me a lot it looked like a dead spin with no winning lines. So I just had "one free spin" with no chances to win anything anyway. I also remember I hit 2 scatters and reel 5 showed me 3rd scatter in another slot (I lost connection when it was about to stop) I asked live chat why there's no free spins for me in that game - your last spin was a dead one  worn_out. So there's a chance (a huge one actually) it was just some kind of display error because when you see spin result AND you don't see "you won XXX coins" then it's probably a reason, sorry. Good luck anyway.

  • Hi sommi just red UR post there to when U span on starburst u had a balance of zero I never and if U go on pig wizard u can spin reels with zero balance to but it will always land back on same screen and the other one U mentioned u only had 2 scatters and reel still span and lost connection so when it reloads UR spin starts again as result already played out so when ur reels all stopped U never won cos it would hav paid if another scatter landed so u had 3 UR watching a video basically as result is known before ur reels stop always
    I had perfect connection and money in my account and watched it roll in one by one just as last reel stopped nothin else happened but game clock was still going so my phone had not froze

  • How can U have 2 scatters reel 5 show a third but failed to stopb4 u had connection error U mean the 3rd scatter just kept spinning past they do that on all slots if it stopped on scatter and then had connection error and reload then u would have got UR free spins when it reloaded, nothing U have put resembles wat happened to me in any way and I never had connection error or game reboot or zero balance b4 spin cos wat U won is wat UR stake paid exactly wat ever U hit even jackpot if u have zero balance, means zero stake X win lines well do the maths wats a million X zero lol (drunken stressed out rant over lol)

    I just got email back and William hill still not replied back and are constantly being chased up yet again, it's shame LCB discussion walls don't let you add photos during conversations only at begging of post it would be a lot easier if it's something for the future LCB please.

    This happened on 4th February.

  • i finally took the time to read the entire thread and i'm not shocked by WH behavior. Cassava Enterprises(888 group, lots of casinos/bingo sites) is regulated like WH by Gibraltar government and i have read horror stories over the years regarding big wins not being paid invoking connection/display errors or imaginary terms. economy of this territory is mainly maintained by gambling operators fees and they never offered any protection to players, unlike Kahnawake that frequently acts on player cases. so casinos simply don't care to act accordingly to incidents like yours if no repercussions follow. they are too big to be affected by bad publicity of individual cases.
    but by your name you must be a British so why don't you adress your issue to UK gambling commission? 666bet/Metroplay recent scandal proved that they actually are doing something other than collecting fees of casinos to be active in UK. also you should consult a lawyer specialized on gambling to see the next step if any. they can't manipulate your history play and your screenshots are standing strong. i would have done much more by now if i was in your shoes than waiting for the lazy WH to suddenly act in your favor.

    Thanks this is with I.B.A.S at the moment who are endorsed by the British gambling authority they will once William hill reply go through both sides evidence and say weather I get paid or not, it's just the old waiting game at mo.
    I have every email off William hill since it happened sayin it was fully investergated and resolved there side to me and u can't get more full than fully so why they not tried to put this to bed tells its own story.
    Ibas can only rule if I get paid or not they have no powers to pull William hill over there disgusting behaviour and they told me complaints like that should be addressed to gambling commission.
    That's my next step and I've thought about legal route but that's last resort costs to much plus I'll sue for stress to at same time lol.
    It will definitely be resolved by Ibas it's just a matter of letting it run its course but thanks

    Hi, I just read this thread from the beginning and I am in total in disbelief...  It seems to me that the regulatory board and this bogus casino have completely dropped the ball with your win.  I just hope the casino hasn't kicked down some money$ to the investigators for a favorable outcome.  It wouldn't be a first though!

    Allow me to be the devil's advocate for a few....if the decision is not in your favor, what other type of redress do you have?  I know the legal avenue here in the U.S. can be a very, very, long drawn out process.  But also add to that the legal costs could easily add up to more than your winnings.

    I certainly hope in your case those won't be applicable.  Kiddo, I sincerely hope this problem ends in your favor.  I wish there were some other means of getting the word out to the innocent players about this rogue casino.  Some world-wide message, if you will.

    Anyway, good luck and I for one will certainly tell everyone I know not to play at this casino!  Power to the players and to you, Shaun!

    Don't worry about playing devils advocate I've thought the same to the only option is the legal route if they don't rule in my favor, but that would be my luck lol,
    I've just started lookin for some but again it's cost, there not cheap but I do get chance to appeal to ibas if not in my favor, but I expect a good lengthy reason why if for some crazy reason they do.

  • HI everyone update on my case and it's bad news, I've attached my ruling but am appealing as I found out they just went off my 1st complaint form non of my transaction history or other things I added leading up to this yet alone William hill takin over 3 months to sort out and they were saying I had malfunctions all through my session when my transaction history (78 pages) on that session shows my spins all after each other with no gaps in minutes which I would have if kept lagging out.
    I have attached photos and hopefully LCB can attach to my thread again please.

    Well, their answer is what I already posted in this topic, things like this happened to me at least few times... There were pretty many situations like this described on polish forums however it was like "I got 3 scatters in Lights but there were no free spins for me". Support told them that was just some kind of display error and that spin should win $0.00 (it was at Betsafe if I remember it well - come on, betsafe wouldn't try to cheat for like $5 win from lights' free spins  laugh_out_loud ).
    In T&C of each casino you can find something like this:

    "Without prejudice to the generality of the preceding provision, Betsafe, its directors, employees, partners, service providers:

    do not warrant that the software or the Website is/are fit for their purpose;
    do not warrant that the software and Website are free from errors;"
    so well... I'm pretty sure that was just an error but good luck, perhaps I'm wrong.

    Just an update. We have spoken with the rep at William Hill and we have tried all we can to assist you with this matter. However unfortunately we cant assist any further and it is out of our hands. We have been told that the matter is now under investigation with a 3rd party called IBAS or known as the Independent Betting Adjudication Service which is an authoritative, totally independent third party, offering adjudication for customers who have an unresolved betting dispute with their book.
    Here is what has been done regarding your dispute:

    - Customer contacted last February disputing one session he had on Pig Wizard (Vegas)
    - He provided one screenshot, wherein the reels are filled with Pig Wizard bonus symbol, which he was expecting a large amount of winnings.
    - This was checked by Tech Team and it was confirmed that there are no fault on the game - possible display issue in which we had offered a £30 GOG for the inconvenience.
    - Customer got upset and refused to accept this. He continuously sent us emails with all his dispute and complaints - he was then advised to send the case over to second opinion.

    - Julie of the Second Opinion Team had this investigated again and the same result - an email was then sent to customer confirming this and he was advised to contact IBAS should he wish to pursue his complaint further.
