  • I was approached by someone claiming to be an employee of Bitcasino asking me to do a survey and in return they would credit my account with a 100% non wager bonus. The employee inviting me to skype in which he begin asking me a series of questions about the new software, vip, etc etc. Afterwards he asked for my username and said that he wasn't in the office at the time. But if i used the skype software cam to login into my account he could manually credit it from where he was. I logged into my account FIRST and then turned on my skype cam. He then took note of my username and asked me to make a deposit. I made the deposit of .1btc or $700 at the time. A few mins later he was able to access my account thru some type of back door and withdrawal the funds.

I contacted him again on skype and he told me that he was an ex employee of bitcasino and that he did some work for them and they did not pay him. So he was trying to get the funds due to him by any means.

I then contacted bitcasino and told them what had happened. I was transferred to their head of security named Joshua. Joshua and I spent days working together to solve this. Joshua asked me to download a software so that he could monitor my computer activity. He assured me that by bringing this to his attention that I would be compensated for doing so (I have chatlog of our convo). I gave Joshua all the information that I had concerning the so-called ex employee of bitcasino. Joshua outlined to me that he would make contact with the scammer and proceed from there. This has been nearly a month now. Joshua has not followed up with the scammer. The scammer is still on skype and also sending messages to others potential victims on different forums. Joshua has not answered any of my emails that I have sent him, and every time I tried to contact him via bitcasino. He's away from the office. But in the beginning he was there every time I asked for him.

I have done everything Joshua has asked of me including giving him access to my computer. But todate Joshua as NOT kept his word. I have asked Joshua to fix whatever backdoor this scammer used, and i don't even know if that has been done. All I know, i'm out of my money. Joshua said he would make things right and so far I haven't heard or seen anything from him.

  • Hi Lady_Bug,

Thanks for sharing your story with us. It's a shame there are people who are cheating others and earn money that way. You should be more careful next time. We're going to notify the casino about your story. We hope they'll reply soon.

  • WOW, I hate this happened to you. But you should know on BCT talk there is plenty of threads of bitcasino being a scam. Like making up excuses to not paying large legit winners.  The casino has gone down to worse since the old crew left. I will be surprised if bitcasino even makes an effort to compensate you. Hopefully Joshua will keep his word. If what you said is true. I will be monitoring this thread as I play there from time to time.

  • Wow, that is real crookery! NEVER EVER let anyone get remote access to your PC or see you logging into anything, anyone suggesting this is not to be trusted and you need to shut down the conversation straight away! A company would never let staff perform any tasks that are not in the office as there is strict security protocols and staff actually do not/should not have access to player details away from the office.

Just to clarify - its this casino you are referring to right?

The rep informed me this morning that he forwarded this case to the relevant department and he'll get back to us once he has the info.Hope it will be soon.

  • Well, I hope they do the right thing and at least refund the OP for the trouble based on what Joshua said in the above chat message. This has to be really pain staking to have been robbed by someone claiming to have worked for them. Good luck Lady_Bug hope things workout for you.

  • OMG they always try to be a step forward to fool You

  • They promised we'd get the feedback two days ago, still nothing. We sent another reminder so hope we'll get the answer soon. Keep you up posted.

  • Well I'm not surprised they are giving you the running around like they seems to be doing the OP as well. This casino has really falling from grace. Such a shame they were the only game in town at one point.

  • We have heard back from casino and there seem to be more than it meets the eye. We are currently reviewing the info we received. It might take couple more days .

  • worriedI can't believe this happened. I hope they will reimburse you as soon as possible.

I can not wait to see the final of the story but i'm sure that LCB wil try to do their best for you

  • Are there any updates to this? I'm reading more cases of monies being stolen by bitcasino.io

  • Is that so? Please private message me links to these so called cases.

  • Wow, what a shocking story. I had a great experience with them but that was at the beginning of 2017. I managed to withdrew 0.8 BTC from a freebie they gave me. They've updated their website but the old one was still avaliable last time I checked. I hope this issue will be resolved asap.

  • Well it looks like I was stolen from and lied too and bitcasino refuses to make things right even though Joshua promise he would. I am a 100% disabled vet and .1 btc was a lot to me to lose. I am truly heart broken about this

    Hey LadyBug,

We sincerely thank you for informing us about this case.

As informed previously by Joshua, you have been targeted by social engineering fraud.

From the evidence that you have provided about the skype conversations it is very clearly seen that account was made up.

For example the username on the account is Tom and account itself is registered on boris.zell2.

Here in Bitcasino.io we will never ask for your username or password to access your account, as once it is created it is known only by you.

3.12. As part of the registration process, you will have to choose a username and password for your login into the Website(s). You will have to choose a username which is not disruptive or offensive. It is your sole and exclusive responsibility to ensure that your login details are kept securely. You must not disclose your login details to anyone. We are not liable or responsible for any abuse or misuse of your Member Account by third parties due to your disclosure, whether intentional, accidental, active or passive, of your login details to any third party.

With above said unfortunately no refund can be made on the funds that were withdrawn with account overtake, when log in details were provided to that person on your behalf.

As we are very concerned about this happening we have closed your existing account to prevent any possible fraud cases and agreed that you can create a new one.

We are sorry that this accident has taken place, and hope that in the future you will be on high awareness to prevent such cases to happen again.

We appreciate your cooperation and understanding regarding this matter.

    Sincerely,
    Bitcasino.io Fraud Department

If anyone finds it willing to donate to help me to recover my .1 btc. You can send to this address <address removed by admin>

The guy who fraud me by claiming to work for bitcasino.io is this guy here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1303368 and he is still active on the forum.

  • Wow...They admitted you was the victim of fraud. Yet they didn't comp you as Joshua stated he would in the chat log you posted. I am not surprised for the way this casino has been treating some of it's players. Hopefully we as a community here can come together and chip in to see if we can make things right for you. I for one will never deposit at bitcasino again.

    BTW thanks for serving...
