Poll - Should casinos that dont accept USA players take more responsibilty in stopping USA players from signing up?

  • I have been trying for months to get my deposits back since they closed my account due to not accepting USA players. Here is the problem with that, you verified my account when i requested a withdrawl so you obviously seen I was in the USA. Now before you use the excuse you do on other people saying you dont do an in-depth verification on small withdrawals, mine was well over your limit so it would of been verified properly but you still cashed me out. You then sit back and allow me to deposit 5 more times for almost $5000 in bitcoin and then close my account for asking about reward points.

  • Direx nv casinos are pretty quick when it comes to account verification and that's one of the things I like about them and I also like their lightning fast withdrawal time but just like you, I encountered also a problem with them when I tried to withdraw a great amount of money. They kept stalling my withdrawal for days while my previous withdrawals were processed within an hour but the big one they refused to pay and I kept asking them about it and after a few days they finally paid me, that of course because I sent them dozens of emails in order to get it.

    I think they should have country block when a player try to access their website from the country that is prohibited to play. I know they can because their sister casino BetChain do have country block feature. Whenever I visit BetChain, I got a message that I am not allowed to play. So I think it is their fault and they should at least return your deposited money. I understand if they do not want to give your winnings because by doing so they are breaking the rules.

  • Thank you Melissa but I doubt you will get any where with these guys, I have been trying since December and they refuse to refund me. I am only asking for deposit refund on the transactions made after my withdrawl. I have been working with Casinomiester.com and a friend from Bitstarz.com and we have finally gotten ahold of the person in charge of the suspending of e-gaming licenses.     We do not allow such players to make deposits, now we got no opportunity to stop them before we detect their GEO, also we can’t set a GEO block for deposits, because many people are using VPN connection, or they have a trip, etc., and also sometimes players don't indicate the country while registration,  that’s why such paragraph was added in our T&C !

    So we recommend to read carefully T&C before start playing anywhere!

    Well I believe the player had already a few successful withdrawals in the past so it is clearly the fault/error of the casino, it is not an excuse and you cannot blame the GEO thingy. If the player already sent his/her documents and when they're approved by the casino, it goes without saying the player assumes it's all good. VPN or no VPN, you should know the real id of the player by checking their documents. Like I said before, some direx nv casino do have country block feature such as BetChain and Konung Casino, you guys should have system sync.

  • I think it's rather like sticking your hand in a fire and then complaining when it burns you.

    If you enjoy the heat and are willing to take the risk, it's on you. I've yet to see anyone come on here saying that they knew full well they were wrong each time they lost their money in a place they weren't allowed to play at to begin with, but it was completely unfair when the casino paid them even though it was against their TOS.

    What really is the difference other than the company who has the TOS can actually feign "some" plausible deniability?

    hope you had great weekend!

    First things first: 

     We are still working on this complaint. So until this is resolved we wont be discussing their status here on LCB. Granted there has been bunch of complaints about them in past but majority was resolved. 

    However we recognize that complaints like this one should not be happening in the first place so this is why we decided to remove Bobs/Playamo from the LCB shop and and suspended all bonuses and rewards until further notice.

    Regarding this case, it comes down to :

    - player not reading T&Cs.

    - casino responsibility to prevent registrations from unregulated or restricted countries.

    We believe casino made a mistake by taking money from OP. Unless VPN/Proxy was used they can easily track their location. 

    It is our position they should be refunding all deposits to the OP ( minus the processing fees ) and additionally implementing system that will prevent users from restricted location from registering/depositing. If there were any winnings on those deposits they should also be void ( same as losses ).

    Just to add that the OP was suspended for 3 days and will be allowed to come back. We didnt do this to prevent them from speaking up but coz of repeated ungrounded attacks against Melissa/LCB. 

    We are here to help and why we need all complainants to cooperate and follow our advice.

    we are here because you ended up taking OPs deposits.

    Are you saying that OP used VPN to hide their address or that you didnt detect their US ip address soon enough? I think you can easily set geo block for registrations first, and then deposits . sure ppl use VPN, but are you even doing KYC ? 

  • Ungrounded attacks against Melissa/LCB? That's just plain wrong. I know it's a frustrating issue with the casino but attacking Melissa/LCB is unacceptable, he needs to cool off, take a walk or something. I have respect for LCB for having plenty of patience. I hope this issue will be solved asap.

    This would make sense if I really knew they didnt accept USA players but just like the majority of other new players we dont check because that is the casinos responsibility. Other casinos on the same SOFTSWISS white label have this feature to block USA players so there is no excuse, they intentionally do this to steal bitcoins from usa players because even if you win they will void the win with this excuse.

    I did not make ungrounded attacks against Melissa I simply noticed complaints she handled similar to mine never get taken care of in favor of the casino so I questioned it. I never once disrespected her or called her any names so to call that attacking her is 100% false.

  • This is one of many complaints against Playamo/Bobcasino that clearly shows LCB members in favor of the user and shows how evil that casino is. Again this is one of many and evidence proves they should of been banned years ago but were not and many players have suffered because of this. FACT!!!!

    For crying out loud you quoted what is RESOLVED complaint. Player tried to defraud the casino and had multiple accounts. Now thats a fact.

    All past complaints were resolved. Your complaint however is still open and we already suspended all rewards/bonuses etc for this group until this is resolved this way or another. 

    So instead of going on around not helping your case, digging old resolved complaints while trying to hide behind the fact that you did not read T&Cs,  I strongly advise you to focus your time on your own complaint and: 

    you are required:

    1. Immediately cease any off topic discussion that is not pertaining to your own case.
    2. Immediately cease any attacks against LCB
    3. Immediately cease with comments that are without single shred of evidence
    4. Own up to your own mistake for not reading T&Cs!
    5. Follow the mediation procedure and do nothing that can damage your case.

    If you do not want us to help you or dont want to follow the guidelines then let us know and we will close this complaint. But mind we will still get to the bottom of this issue with or without you. 

    So just don't be PITA ok?

    Casino should have never accepted this player. To their defense we all know that BTC is anonymous, right? but they do have means to check for IP and have know your customer ( KYC ) verification. 

    Their decision to close OPs account is legitimate and well within their rights, all according to T&Cs. But they need to refund them too.

    At the same time i would not take OP too seriously. they know they screwed up too and trying to blame others for their own mistake. Tbh im not even sure they want this resolved or even if they want help. Looks like they just want to rant.

    I just want to apologize I dont know what i was thinking to actualy beleive that one of your admins (melissa) could possibly be bribed by one of the casinos that you promoted in your shop. I now know that is 100% impossible and I was a fool to think that and Im sooo sorry it wont happen again. For everyone that helped me realize that I dont know what i am talking about after 10 years of playing many different casinos, thank you very much for your wisdom. I wonder the following forums have over 50 complaints like mine and worse going back to last year for bob and 2 years for playamo.Thepogg.com, casinomeister.com, askgamblers.com and more. I feel bad now for the casino because i see its not their fault at all.

    A week ago we received response from the Rep, and good news is that they finally implemented GEO tracking/block. Obviously this was fairly easy to implement so it does raises questions as to why it was not done earlier...  

    However , the bad news is they told us they have no intention to refund the OP. Their argument is that since the player broke their terms they are not to be held responsible.  But obviously its not that simple and even though the OP is indeed responsible for not reading T&Cs, it certainly does not exonerates the casino and they need to own up and admit the mistakes made on their part ( i.e. lack of  GEO , not doing the KYC etc ).

    We explained why they are in fact to be held responsible and that we hope they would change their mind, but to no response ( why we havent updated this topic earlier as we were waiting for a reply ).

    So today we sent them one last email urging them to reconsider and completely refund the OP ( minus any fees and expenses that casino had ).

    We will give them time until Friday when we will be further updating their status on LCB.

    I must admit since they have implemented the GEO/country block feature, The Netherlands is no longer allowed to play, I've received email from various Direx NV casinos such as BobCasino, LadyHammer casino, Loki casino, Golden-Star casino, GunsBet and a few more, stating that The Netherlands is no longer allowed, this cannot be a coincidence, I am afraid more will follow and this can be the end of Direx NV for The Netherlands.

    Given no response, we have escalated this matter further  and took it up to SOFTSWISS, their provider. They are looking into this and hopefully will be able to put some pressure on these casinos and make them do the right thing.

  • A very correct decision. If the casino refuses to give payments to players without a reason. Then this place is in the black list.

  • Why does LCB continue to support playamo/bobcasino after they said they will ban them. This is not right.

    We do not support anyone. We are the mediators between you guys and the casino and we are trying to get the evidence and solve out the issue. That's the reason we have the complaints and direct support sections. We did remove all the exclusive offers and promos that were running on LCB so we suspended all kinds of promotions for these two brands. 

  • Why do you even continue to offer mediator services to these guys? You should of banned them from LCB or at least featured them in the Rogue list but you did not. By offering mediator services for these casinos you are in some way supporting them because other players are not warned about them.

    I understand your frustration  but keep complaining about LCB offering mediator services to Playamo and Bobcasino won't help anyone. I'd like to advise you to take a break from online casinos till your mind is cleared, your anger cooled down. It is the casino who you angry at. LCB did the best they can to solve this issue and without success due the lack of casino's co-operation. At this point, there's nothing LCB nor you can do about this case, it is a lost case. Do not stick with this and try to move on.

  • Listen I have no problem with legit  online casinos and it's not about losing either because I just won $19,000 bitcoins a few days ago and I have the screenshots to prove it. This is about making sure these thieves are put out of business or to cause them to lose as much money as possible.  One last thing I have noticed everytime I try to start a new topic in any forum category it magically disappears. Hmm I wonder why? I can't wait to hear your reason why.

    Your heeded warnings and grievances have already been displayed in this thread and the direct support thread, repeating the same thing over and over is not going to change you current situation unfortunately. We have taken your words into consideration and have added a warning to both brands.

    LCB has been operating since 2006 and we has been advocating for players for over 10 years now, I think we have a good idea about how to help and serve our members. We provide a safe space for players/members too post their complaints and try and help them the best we can. We believe it's better to have a space where members can come post their complaints rather then the alternative of having no option. Your complaint did not end positively unfortunately, however whats to say another member can't get a positive outcome out of an issue or grievance they are having.

  • No, that is not what I am saying at all. We tried to resolve the complaint and get your deposits, the casino refuses to do so. In response we limited all exposure and closed all exclusives and then added a warning which informs USA players to not play or deposit using crypto, our reviews already stipulated that USA players are restricted and so did the casinos terms and conditions.

    You are free to go on your rampage to seek justice, you just cant use our platform to do it.
