  • I think a have problem with mariacasino and withdrawal. I have a winning of 5000euro and all of the sudden after the verification of the right documents my account gets frozen and I get informed about deposits by bank from a friend about a year ago. They want also the verification of that person. I sent these also after rewuirement. I paid with paysafe and won now. I understand that they need time for verification but why am I frozen. There is 1000euro on the account besides the withdrawal request of 5000. I read situations one the net that things go unexpected sideways and I hope you can help me. Maybe this is a false alarm because it's 4days now and they informed me on time. But why frozen right away and not friendly responses. Why can I not play for days now. It's smells fishy. 

  • You won't be able to access either balance or get your withdrawal if they suspect fraud, which seems to be the case here: using another persons bankaccount is a big no-no in the casino world..unless perhaps you cleared it before. But i can say with confidence that if everything is o.k. Maria will definitely pay you..

    They are a great Casino, part of the Kindred group (Unibet, iGame, 32Red, Maria and more) and are very solid, licensed in all the right places, and Stockmarket listed. So no worries about their integrity.

    As said, if you have deposited with a friends card/account, there's a chance they will pay you, provided you have a solid explanation. But most Casinos would just confiscate your winnings and ban you..

    I remember years ago, me and a few friends just started playing poker, and we always did the same thing (we didn't read the T&C's obviously).when we would deposit to the account of my friend, and all play together, taking turns. When he then won a big tourney, we ran into the same uissue as you, and only after a long, long process and much explanations, he got paid. But it took a good while, and since then the rules have become a lot stricter.

    I know it's after the fact: but always read the T&C's in a Casino, it will take you 10/20 minutes, but at least you know what is allowed and not. 

    Hope you get paid, but be prepared for the worst.

  • Thanks for the comment. I only deposited from my cousins bankaccount. We lived in the same house more than a year ago. The account and address as well my own bankaccount wich belong to my identity is provided and there is nothing different since registration. Only the deposit method once in a while. The last year only used paysafecards. My cousins details are provided too and there are no secrets and this was the only account ever created with my identity. If depositing is a fraude why is it even possible then to use a friend's bank acount with permission. 

  • Well, most T&C's state something like 'only the accountholder can use the account' and 'deposit methods need to be in the accountholders name'..that's pretty basic and standard, and most Casinos only check if everything is as it should be at the time a Withdrawal is made...have you made withdrawals before? If yes, then it was probably less than 2300 (maybe 2700) which is the 'common' threshold to reach, before the Casino are obligated to do an identity check or KYC procedure. Specifically with larger amounts, those checks are done.

    SO, it's not illegal to deposit of course, but the nameholder of the deposit method should be the same as the name of the accountholder..

    As said there are exceptions (for instance if you and your wife would want to use the same account, or have a shared bankacount)  but it's basically up to the casino in this case. That is of course assuming i understand your story here correctly.

    But, these things take time, just don't give up and keep contacting them, stay polite, and then you will find out soon enough.
