Blackjack Players Corner!

Blackjack so it's said is one of the best table games to play from an odds perspective. The first time  i ever played BlackJack  was at Golden Nugget Casino in Las Vegas. I was a bit nervous especially learning the proper protocol like scratching the table with the card and waving my hand when i didn't want another card.

The dealer spotted me as a newbie right away and was patient to teach me the ropes including splitting cards and taking insurance. Me and my best friend had a blast playing even though we didn't win. We probably had one too many free cocktails and that's not a very smart way to play!

                That liquor ain't free for nothin' so to speak.  LMAO   Yeah, supposedly it does have the best possible odds for the player--provided they know basic strategy.  Even though I've seen videos,  read books on the subject,  I'm lucky to break even half the time.  The table game that I really love is craps.  Very exciting.    I should, however, brush up on my blackjack skills as the Hard Rock here in Tampa has blackjack tables.  'Gotta have deep pockets though. 

I have always wanted to learn how to play Craps. I remember the first time i was in Vegas they had an instructional video on how to play but i never did quite feel confident enough to play.

Its always the loudest table full of action and one of these days i am going to have to give it try the same goes for Live Poker tournaments.

I actually don't care for craps.  Mainly because it's either a game that the dice are hot or there not.  I hate having someone else dice shooting skills be the determination of my end result.
Granted I have seen some guys who can make there marks and earn the table loads of cash.
Yet after loosing $200 in the matter of 15 minutes.  It sort of scared me away from the table.
Granted in Blackjack you can have the same result, yet at least at that point you can blame the cards more.  Than the guy who just is having horrible luck with the dice that day.

Blackjack is the first table game I played! I was taught by a guy I used to date. He was a huge gambler, I really liked it.  I know it has the best odds, but I haven't played it in years. I think I get intimidated to sit at a table. Goal next time I go to a casino is hit a blackjack table! 

I too always wanted to learn craps, it's so lively all the time and I just want to get in the action!

              There's a great short book (instructional) on craps by Avery Cardoza.  That's how I learned; one of the keys is learning which bets NOT to make and learn the mathematical and statistical probabilities of certain numbers coming up.    Some will appear more often because of possible combinations on the dice , etc.  If you avoid foolish bets on the table your money will last longer.  Sorry, Lips, I know this was about blackjack,  didn't mean to get sidetracked.

Live blackjack is the best! I like chasing number 21 over and over again It's fun to play with friends and bet on their cards. From my point of view is most enjoyable live game ever
