How often do you use Casino Bonuses?

I have heard a lot of debate about this on here and other forums,  is it really worth it to have to wager an average of 1500$ for a $50 match bonus? I was wondering how many people use bonuses and how often do you make wagering? Is it really worth it? To me "cashable" bonuses I will usually take for the extra boost and if the wagering is not too crazy altho usually with bonuses I end up losing it all.

Good question leavefall. Personally, I'd rather make a straight deposit and see what I can do. I think it can have a lot to do with the software or game you choose. Some slot games are great to make playthrough. I think TAAADAAA is the expert on that.  It's all a matter of preference. A great deposit bonus, in my opinion, does not exceed 30x but 20x is great!

it is a tough one leavefall, since i got addicted to the site i always talk about guess lol ok i will tell u, jackpot party hahaha, well i always tryed to find sites with match bonuses when i wanted to deposit, but now i always deposit at jackpot party, im used to not getting the bonuses, it is a a pain, but i am used to it now, and i prefer it because you can withdraw when ever you win enough that you are happy to withdraw but i never do anyway on jackpot party as i have said in other threads but anyway, yes like froggy said its everyones own preference, some prefer bonuses some dont, i stay away from sites that have matach bonuses that you have to wager the deposit + the bonus so it is worse, the casinos have no right making us wager our own deposit, the only money they should be allowed to set wagers on is the bonuses only not the deposits,

Thanks guys for the replies,  I think from now on i will only take bonuses if they are small so the wagering is under 500$.  It just sucks when you hit a few hundred bucks on a slot and then because you have to wager another 1000$ you may lose it all.

My personal preference is to never take a deposit bonus with certain exceptions to this. If the wager is not more 20x i may consider claiming it if bonus amount is solid, also there are some promos tied to a specific slots and if i consider that slot low variance and suitable for wagering i may also claim the bonus. When you deposit you always hope that you will get lucky and win something and if i do i like to withdraw it whenever i want it.


There were happy old times where you could playthrough a bonus on BJ so you had some chance of meeting it no matter how big, but lately i see more and more ridiculously big wagering requiremts even on slots so thoes i dont even take into consideration

I never use a bonus having a 30x wagering just blows if u hit big and end up loosing it all, only at 7sultans i always take there bonus since u can cancel it at anytime and withdraw same with betsson.

Slotland/Win A day casinos have a nice 11x wager but only 2 slots i like, so i claim a promo when im in mood to play them

I just made an easy $40 at winaday, never deposited free xmas chip anyone can withdraw from 15x WR,  if you have made a dep in the past no max cashout drtheolen!!

I never take a bonus when I deposit.  I used to when I was a bit of a whore - 895% was my best every bonus at one of the rogues.  I knew there was no chance of cashing out; it was just for play time.

Got stung once on a deposit bonus hence that's the reason I don't take them any more.

Just saw this post, it's old, but thought I would share my thoughts on the subject! I always take bonus deposit's. I get lucky enough to sometimes make Playthrough. I tried just depositing without a bonus and my money goes fast!

Inever take a bonus. I have seen too many problems posted with winnings confiscated for one reason or other.  Also some winnings are capped.

I still play bonuses occassioanlly... it really depends on how hight the bonus % is, the related WR. And max cashout that Rena above pointed out.

In these days I take sometimes deposit bonuses if terms are good, for example get free spins after deposit as a gift or wagering for bonus money is max X3

I had deposit with bonus when i was beginner..It's a big mistake..I advise you never deposit with bonus..You will lose your money while wagering..I use bonus only when it's no deposit bonus.

I still look closely at the details of a casinos welcome deal when deciding if I want to start playing there - it's not a make or break thing though, I will still check out a new casino even if I do decide I am not interested in taking their welcome bonus. 

for a 100% match I won't accept anything equal to over 50x the bonus amount, on a 200% or 300% match I *might* consider a little more. I hate it when casinos give the WR as deposit plus bonus on a 100% match as it seems just a cheeky way of making the headline number look more attractive!

As for reloads, I won't take a bonus less than 100% if the wagering is given in (D+B) unless it's VERY low, ladbrokes make me chuckle sometimes with their 10% on £20 / £2 bonuses with 35x(D+B) wagering ... oh yeah, lets go for that 385x the bonus WR, what a steal! 

Every time i use bonus because i wish to deposit less so bigger bonus is better for me.

I never use casino bonuses, except no deposit bonuses. But I deposit without any bonus because I only play casino tournaments, with cash prizes. No bonus means no wagering requirements so I can cash out my winnings immediatly.
