good results, btw I know what KYC is but what is iDIN ?
Never mind! I just read it in the article above, copying it here for the lazy one's
"The casino uses the iDIN verification tool as part of its KYC system: This means that you have to provide your personal details by logging onto your online bank account, following the casino’s link, and the hub interfaces with the bank syncing everything up.
Essentially, iDIN uses players’ internet bank to make verification. Since close to 97% percent of customers in the Netherlands — our tester’s motherland — use online banking options, iDIN is the most popular electronic identification method over there. "
Looks like this is for Dutch ppl
Hey! indeed it is, but i believe there are similar options for other EU Countries as well. IF not, there should be! So straightforward and easy...
All Casinos should do this i.m.o. and i also think it's great to have to do KYC before being able to deposit.
It's one of the most responsible ways of online gambling, because it helps tremendously against identity theft, prevents you from losing out on winnings due to casino/KYC issues after the fact, and gives you some valuable info about the communication smoothness/level of professionalism from the casino you're signing up to.
Having to engage with them beforehand, definitely will reveal the sort of people you're dealing with, at least to a certain extent. For those reasons alone i really hope this would become industry standard..
Aside from being so lucky i got to be in the first test-group, i've yet to win! Not only will that be good for me, but i actually find it more telling if/when you're first withdrawal is a win, preferably of respectable size :D
Anyway, really enjoying being part of this, and it's really a one of a kind and unique initiative, of/for which i am really proud and grateful at the same time, if you know what i mean :)
