The leading worldwide publisher of online gambling content, Yggdrasil Gaming, has made another important milestone this week, just a couple of days after revealing three new slot titles developed in partnership with ReelPlay and 4ThePlayer.
As its next step towards expanding worldwide, the supplier has successfully signed a multi-year iGaming content distribution agreement with IGT – a multinational company and global leader in gaming with $5 billion revenue.
As the report reads, the software giant from Malta will grant IGT (International Game Technology) exclusive access to a selected number of slots, intended for distribution to operator partners in the U.S. and Canada.
Among the first titles to go live in these territories are fan-favorites from Yggdrasil’s rapidly growing and diverse portfolio, including Vikings Go Wild, Valley of the Gods and Cazino Zeppelin.
According to IGT, the studio’s products should launch on its platform in December 2021.
Although the provider is already present in many regulated iGaming sectors around the world, this landmark deal marks an important strategic step for Yggdrasil, since the exciting and emerging North American market is getting bigger day by day due to the fact that more and more states decide to regulate online gambling.
“Yggdrasil continues to deliver on its growth strategy, and U.S. and Canada are key territories for driving continued sustainable long-term growth, and shareholder value,” commented Fredrik Elmqvist about the expansion, CEO of Yggdrasil.
The chief executive is extremely proud of the company’s latest partnership with IGT, the world’s leading iGaming supplier. As disclosed, the aggregator will have exclusive territorial distribution rights for a selected number of best-in-class game titles, giving players a unique insight into the studio’s premium portfolio.
Elmqvist also looks forward to supporting IGT’s PlayCasino customers, as the online gaming market continues to expand in North America. This partnership should even realize their goals through a player-centric, highly entertaining and iconic selection of games, concluded the CEO.
As the North American marketplace continues to increase, partnering with high-performing software developers such as Yggdrasil Gaming will become a pillar of IGT’s growth strategy. Enrico Drago, IGT CEO digital & betting, said that the company has chosen this specific provider based on the quality of its artistic talents and passion for innovation.
These hallmarks are in line with PlayDigital’s commitment to performance, added Drago, who is confident about the early success of Yggdrasil games in the US market and looks forward to complementing the player-favorite IGT PlayCasino games.
Among the upcoming releases from the top-rated provider are Monster Blox by Peter & Sons, Gator Gold Gigablox, Glory of Heroes and Serendipity by Dreamtech Gaming, 5 Clans from Reflex Gaming, Valhalla Saga Thunder of Thor from Jelly and Piggy Pop Popwins, developed by AvatarUX.
