Global Gaming has decided to terminate its white label operations and focus entirely on B2C business, an official press release reads. The self-proclaimed “challenger in the iGaming industry” will cease its operations during Q4, with representatives stating there “will be no revenue” beyond the year-end.
The move comes just six months after Lars Kollind was appointed head of B2B, on which occasion he commented:
“I couldn't think of a better time to join Global Gaming; as the organization seeks to grow, it seems natural to add a new vertical in the B2B product”.
Global’s plans to henceforth commit to its B2C service offerings include the company’s flagship and an award-winning brand, NinjaCasino as well as the SpelLandet brand. The closure is described as the “the latest stage of the company’s ongoing growth plans.”
The group’s CEO, Joacim Möller said:
“B2B business accounts for a small portion of the Group’s revenue, roughly 2% in the third quarter of 2018. After profit sharing with our partners, Global Gaming’s share is so small that it no longer justifies the cost of running, maintaining and developing white label operations. All of our resources will be focused on optimizing and developing our fantastic brands, which, we are convinced, will have a positive impact on the group.”
Back in July, the business obtained a license for NinjaCasino in Estonia via its Safe Ent subsidiary. At the time, major company representatives said that the country is an ideal destination for “several new marketing channels”, insinuating the forthcoming Sweden’s market re-regulation.
The move will see the company’s strongest brand offer of more than 200 slots, including those developed by the world’s leading suppliers (NetEnt and Play’n GO to name a few). This agreement also encompasses Yggdrasil’s portfolio, since both software manufacturers pinned a deal in March 2018.
In August, Global signed a multi-year deal with Kambi Group that will see it start offering the latter’s sportsbook services as well. Namely, under the terms of the agreement, Kambi is to supply its premium sportsbook in all markets where Global holds a local license. The operator’s product (which encompasses its open-APIs and risk management processes) will be integrated into the provider’s proprietary platform some time during Q4 2018.
Head of sportsbook at Global Gaming, Christopher Naudi, didn’t hide his excitement at the time and commented:
“Following an extensive selection process, we are delighted to be able to partner up with Kambi as our Sportsbook provider and look forward to being able to offer high levels of product, service and user experience that our customers have grown to expect through the Ninja Casino brand.”
Global’s COO, Mark Wadsworth, put it this way:
“We offer players easy and secure access to a responsible, entertaining and high-quality online gaming experience and with our in-house expertise and Kambi’s platform, we are ready to take Global Gaming to new heights.”
