Svenska Spel To Integrate Slots From Yggdrasil

Swedish - headquartered company, Cherry AB, is continuing its expansion efforts towards other regulated iGaming markets in Europe, this time by signing a content supply agreement with Svenska Spel Sport & Casino.

The partnership will actually integrate Yggdrasil Gaming’s leading casino slots portfolio into the platform, since it represents one of the subsidiaries that operate within the Scandinavian jurisdiction. As a reminder, the Swedish landscape will open its doors to regulated online gaming on January 1st, 2019.

Terms Agreed On Time

Sweden’s largest gaming operator owns a network of brands including Lotto, Triss, Stryktipset, Oddset, Vegas and Casino Cosmopol. By adding Yggdrasil’s catalog full of innovative products and promotional tools, including Brag and Boost, but also Penguin City, Hanzo’s Dojo as well as the recently launched Wolf Hunters, the company will set a strong foothold in the entire region...

Fredrik Elmqvist, CEO commented about the deal:

“We’re really happy to have agreed terms with Svenska Spel ahead of the Swedish market regulating next year. Our strategy to expand our regulated market footprint is ahead of schedule and demand from operators across a wide variety of regulated and newly regulating markets is rapidly growing. We will be ready to go well ahead of the January 2019 launch date.”

Simultaneously, when asked about the integration of top-performing titles into the library, Fredrik Wastenson, MD at Svenska Spel Sport & Casino, said:
