Romania Gambling Regulator Grants License to Relax Gaming

The award-winning international B2B software provider, Relax Gaming, has just achieved a major feat, in receiving its latest B2B supplier license. Romania’s gambling regulator just recently granted the Malta-based company with the license.

The license opens up new doors for the provider, allowing it the rights to go live with casino games by way of its Silver Bullet platform, across the market. It also enables the company to provide poker and bingo offerings through its operating partners.

CEO of Relax Gaming, Patrik Österåker, commented “Moving into new regulated markets is a natural step for Relax and part of our growth strategy. We are very pleased to have been granted a license in Romania, which is an attractive and growing market for us.”

Österåker continued, “The license allows Relax to support our valued partners as they retain and grow their presence in this important jurisdiction.”

Aside from this newly granted license, it also holds additional licenses in Malta, the UK, and Alderney, which also allow the company to provide games via its Silver Bullet iGaming platform. Furthermore, it makes way for multi-channel game releases at the same time. The provider is also equipped with an assortment of proprietary games, and content from software brands such as Genesis Gaming, Felt, Fuga Gaming, Push Gaming, and Quickspin.

Founded in 2010, Relax Gaming as founded by both Österåker and Jani Tekoniemi. It has been said that the idea for the company originated one drunken night in a Malta pub. Over the years, it has evolved to include a number of leading European gaming operators, as well as more than 50, dedicated staff members.
