Grand Parker Casino - CLOSED 7/2015 Review

Back

Living in urban or rural areas has its pluses and minuses. I was born and grew up in a city so I really like, or maybe I am just used to its energy and lifestyle in general but I often feel anxious and weary. It seems that people who live in cities are more stressed and have higher levels of mood disorders, even psychotic illnesses. Some researchers say that now they know brain activities they could help explain why this is happening. Those who live in the city, for example, show higher activation the amygdala, the brain region that regulates emotions such as anxiety and fear. It’s called into action under situations of stress and threat. The researchers think it is the social aspects of urban living — the stress of living and dealing with lots of people, and feeling more anxiety, fear and threat as a result. Even after years of city living, people remain highly alert and anxious and it seems that stresses of city life may be both constant and diverse and not easy to adapt to.

Sometimes I envy people who live far from cities because even though their life isn’t easy, I think it might be easier to find a quiet place to relax. So, the last time I played at Grand Parker Casino one of the slots I wanted to play was “Hillbillies”. It was fun and interesting and I had some nice wins but more importantly I managed to trigger the Free Spins; I won $5.74 and I finished playing having $35 which wasn’t so bad considering how unlucky I’ve been lately playing slots; I lost “only” $5.

Now, it doesn’t matter if you live in a city or in a village one thing that most people enjoy watching is baseball. The “King of Swing” slot delivered…. but only in the beginning; I had some very nice wins and my balance went up to $45 and I was very happy but that made me wait for a feature…. and that was a mistake. I was close to triggering free spins but I guess it just wasn’t meant to be. It was a little bit tiring and stressful but then again, what isn’t nowadays.
