A common phobia is bees. I’m not terrified of bees but they do make me a little nervous. When I was a little girl, I was swimming at the local public pool. I lived there all summer long. I was as permanent as the water slide. I had just done an amazing dive off of the high diving board and I was climbing up the latter and out of the pool when I felt a pinch. Somehow a bee got into my bathing suit and stung me. It did have flowers all over it but I was no flower. One thing is for sure, I had no fear of the bees in the Bee Land slot at Rialto Casino.

Bee Land was a joy to play. The music and the graphics were adorable. The bees have all different jobs and outfits. There a police bee, a painter, a ballerina, a janitor and the queen bee is wild. The bee hive symbol is worth 1,000 credits for 5 and is the highest paying symbol after the wild. Birds are chirping in the background and it’s a feel good slot. Three scatter symbols trigger the free spins. I preferred it to Honey to the Bee and some of the other similarly themed slot games out there.

A session of free spins landed me an additional $15. Three wild flower symbols launch the “Honey Queen” bonus game. I had hoped to get a shot at it but it didn’t happen. I laughed each time a wild symbol appeared and the queen bee batted her long lashes.

About midway through my play, I realized that I wasn’t playing all 20 lines. Several winning combinations increased my bankroll by $17. It was then that I saw that I was only playing 15 lines. I quickly upped it to 20. It seems that I didn’t do as well and was better off betting less. I kept hitting the spin button and didn’t realize that I had no money left.

It seems that I was distracted by the cuteness and let the bees zap my bankroll.
