Slot specialist Play’n GO has announced the roll-out of yet another slot inspired by a heavy metal band – Annihilator!
With this release, the developer continues to present themselves as one of the leading brands in the music slot sector, as the game joins their growing repertoire of similar titles such as House of Doom and Sabaton.
It’s a tribute to the band that was present on the music scene for decades and led by Jeff Waters who influenced such bands as Megadeth, 3 Doors Down and Nickelback.
Annihilator has several of the band’s hits as the soundtrack…
…including the ones from the latest album Sadistic, Ballistic. They can be selected at any time using the Playlist feature. Frontman Waters appears as an animated Wild, setting reels on fire with his shredding abilities.
The slot has a few action-packed features that are named after some of the band’s tracks, like Fun Palace, Set the World on Fire and In Command.

The 5-reel slot game has 10 fixed paylines…
…and is of high volatility, has an RTP of 96.20% and is supported by all desktop and mobile platforms and operating systems. The Scatter symbol only appears on reels 1, 3 and 5, while the Bonus appears on reels 2, 3 and 4.
The extra spins feature is triggered with 3 Scatter symbols or with Fun Palace feature. 8 extra spins are awarded, while the Expanded Wild is always present during the feature. It substitutes for all symbols except the Scatter.
Before each Free Spin, the expanded Wild moves sideways (left or right) a random number of reels. The movement will highlight symbols, by creating a trail of fire. The trail of fire can either be 1 or 3 symbols in height. A Wild symbol landing on a highlighted symbol transforms the entire trail of fire into additional Wild symbols.
Comments Play’n GO’s Chief Product Officer, Martin Zettergren:
“There was a real collaborative effort to give this game its level of realism and detail, which included visiting Jeff’s UK studio to capture the voice and video recordings; we worked together every step of the way."
In March, the developer released yet another game based on the heaviest musical genre…
…as a tribute to the thrash-metal band Testament.
Before that, there was Coywolf Cash, another game with the 5-reels configuration.
