New NetEnt Web Series: The Challenge

Back

In true innovative NetEnt style, the company presents a new 8-episode web series, ‘The Challenge’ to show the world just how cool it is to work for one of the top iGaming solutions providers. Watch as a team of 4 of 900 dedicated employees are selected to trek to the peak of a mountain in the European Alps, however, they do not yet know they’ve been chosen for the mission. Follow the cameras as each team member is told they’ve been selected in tricky yet creative ways.

Episode 1 begins with Averil Bonnici, an actress and a trainer in NetEnt’s Malta live casino studios. She’s given the task of showing teaching blackjack 101 to a potential client or so she thinks. The entire scene is a sham with the trainee giving Averil a session like none she’s ever experienced before.

Next, we meet art director Tomas Rehn, who works out of the Stockholm office. An elaborate prank was planned for him, but of all days he called in sick. Rather than reschedule the surprise for another day, an “Australian TV crew” knocked on his door claiming to have booked a room in his apartment via Airbnb.

Catch the pranks and reactions in Episode 1 of The Challenge:

NetEnt CEO Per Eriksson said, “We are climbing this mountain to highlight and pay tribute to the metaphorical peaks that NetEnters scale every day. With The Challenge, we have created something completely new to tell our story as part of our strive to attract and retain the most talented and passionate individuals.

“We take great pride in all we do. We want to attract people who like to influence their work, the product, and their life. To work at NetEnt, you need to thrive in a fast-paced environment in an ever-changing field; to embrace opportunities to grow and to face challenges.

“At NetEnt, people have Better Mondays. We are never afraid to go above and beyond, and we are bringing this to life with The Challenge.”
