Another alliance that could steer iGaming industry's creative side to new frontiers has been formed, with the announcement that games designer, Rocksalt Interactive, became the official in-house producer and partner of Nektan, fast-growing international platform and service provider.
The multi-year contract has been signed with the idea of diversifying the provider's game offering in mind.
Rocksalt's team will be relying on their wealth of knowledge and long-standing expertise in order to design gaming titles as per Nektan's HTML5 directives. For distribution of newly-created content to operators and clients, they will exist utilize E-Lite and Evolve platforms.

...Nektan will be delivering a games engine for the production of content whereas Rocksalt will be maintaining front-end functionality, illustrations, features and assets of new titles.
Other specifics of this arrangement state that there will be at least twelve games produced this way, with all of them set to be distributed to Nektan's commercial operators and white-label casinos.
We're already familiar with what will be this tandem's first fruit of labor: Plucky Pirates: Devil's Triangle will be Rocksalt's maiden title to go live. The game whose theme are sea-corsairs of old promises “highly-engaging gameplay” and “state-of-the-art graphics.”

Having appointed Lucy Buckley as their new CEO in October, Nektan has been on a steady upward trajectory in regards to accomplished strategic deals.
In early December, the brand entered into a content partnership with Tokyo's independent games company, Rising Entertainment, making their games such as Rank Up Dragon available to their expanding network of operators.
In another statement-making move, the Gibraltar-based experts have integrated NetEnt's Live Casino suite on their Evolve platform.
Speaking of the deal, Christine Lewis of NetEnt, stated:
“Evolve has global reach and we are happy to deliver our range of Live Casino games to Nektan’s network of white label casinos.”
