Microgaming Boosts Italian Presence With BLOX

Back

One of the world’s most popular slot and casino game aggregators and creators, Microgaming, has announced that it will integrate their most popular slot and table games with Italy’s BLOX platform provider.

This move increases Microgaming’s distribution in Italy and further acquisition of more customers and players who will get to experience their premium content for the first time.

Setting Themselves Apart

The deal, signed through Prima Networks Limited (PNL), will see over 50 Microgaming’s games added to BLOX’s impressive game aggregator. It already harbors a stunning array of casino games from such esteemed developers such as Pragmatic Play, Yggdrasil Gaming and Evolution Gaming.

Operators that use BLOX’s platform will be in a position to offer their punters such blockbuster titles as Immortal Romance, 9 Masks of Fire and Lara Croft Temples and Tombs.

BLOX is the supplier of content to some of the most esteemed operators in the market of Italy. This Microgaming content addition will allow them to diversify their portfolios with games that are some of the most enjoyed and sought after titles in world’s markets.

BLOX’s Chief Commercial Officer, Karl Grech, said:

“We have built an incredible portfolio of games from some of the biggest providers in the market and the addition of Microgaming further sets us apart from our rival platform providers and aggregators.

Microgaming is undoubtedly one of the industry’s leading content providers and no online casino game lobby is complete without titles such as Immortal Romance and Thunderstruck II – we are thrilled to be able to offer these and more to our partners and their players.

PNL’s Rupert Dix added that Italy has a thriving online casino market and that adding these games to more players and operators will make for a great partnership.

Portugal Expansion

PNL also assisted Microgaming’s most recent expansion into the market of Portugal.

The Portuguese deal concerned Microgaming and Solverde, one of the biggest operators in this country. Similarly to the BLOX deal, Solverde acquires Microgaming’s content that will be presented for the first time to their operator clients.

The iGaming market of Portugal has been rising sharply since it was instated in 2016. The country’s revenue related to this industry keeps increasing and more and more operators join the market.
