Gaming Event ICE to Go Transatlantic Next Year

Back

One of the greatest iGaming events in the entire industry, ICE, is coming to North America in May 2019, as it represents a defining event for the sports betting market in the United States as well as its interactive gambling environment.

The conference has already spread some magic in November, at this year’s ICE Sports Betting USA in New York, when visitors learned about the fully-fledged event in Boston, Massachusetts (May 13-15).

ICE Backed by Stakeholders

Clarion Gaming, the company behind ICE, said that the upcoming event will cover five divisions in gaming, including sportsbooks, online gaming, affiliate marketing, iLotteries and esports as well.

Kate Chambers, managing director, comments:

“Following the US Supreme Court ruling, it has become clear that there's a need for a professional and, most importantly, a trusted platform to help drive the future of gaming across the continent.”

Chambers adds that the group’s decision to organize ICE North America was followed and supported by active stakeholders across the land. Therefore, the conference will act as a meeting place that provides opportunities for brands that want to establish a competitive advantage in the market. She also said the following:

“ICE is recognized as being the most respected event brand in the gaming space and has all of the necessary credentials and energy to be at the heart of the development of the industry in North America.”

iPioneer Campaign to Push ICE Globally

At the next gaming event in London in February 2019, the organizers will reveal their iPioneer campaign, whose purpose is to highlight new learning opportunities that can deliver detailed sessions on how to showcase a brand or connect with the best operators from the interactive sector.

Chambers explained that the strategy was successful at this year’s conference and at GiGse as well, allowing the company to set up a dynamic approach for future meetings. Likewise, other industry experts such as Benjie Cherniak, managing director of Don Best, were delighted with Clarion’s initiative. He reveals:

“The ICE conference in London remains a ‘go to’ event for the global gaming industry that is circled on the annual calendar of everyone in the space.

Expanding the scope to now include the US market makes perfect sense at this juncture as ICE is a brand with the credibility to attract a wide range of stakeholders including not only the usual suspects such as operators, suppliers and platform providers, but also legislators, the investment community and the professional sports leagues.”

North America: Massively Impactful Event

ICE brings together international online and offline businesses, but the event at Boston Convention and Exhibition Center will get around leaders, manufacturers, and operators from other verticals – namely sports betting and interactive gaming.

Apart from promoting the latest trends in technology, it offers the “right energy and it empowers attendees to achieve key business objectives,” says Julie Mossler, EVP Global marketing at Sportradar.

The leading B2B event also went live in Africa for the first time in October 2018, gathering professionals from 52 countries of Africa, America, Asia and Europe.
