Creative powerhouse and casino software maker, Yggdrasil, has announced in an official press release that their flagship YGS Masters semi-open platform for curation, development and distribution of content from the world's leading independent games studios, has been joined by Dreamtech Gaming.
The artistic studio is the sixth independent to take part in this rapidly-growing initiative and will focus on delivering Asian-themed content to the Stockholm-based company.
Having existed as a group for over two years, Dreamtech has offices in Asia and Australia and is based in Malta...
...where it's led by a team of industry professionals with a significant track record and experience in the iGaming industry. Their key focus is creating games with detailed design and well-balanced gameplay.
Under the terms of the signed agreement with Yggdrasil...
...this independent studio will be creating and delivering content that is mainly centered around Asian themes and will gain access to the supplier's collection of proprietary in-game promotional tools, BOOST.
By now, YGS Masters has six studio partners: besides Dreamtech, it already employs services for AvatarUX, 4ThePlayer, Fantasma, Rabcat and Northern Lights. The first YGS Masters game is scheduled for release in the second quarter of this year and is dubbed Niagara Falls.
Yggdrasil's Head of Studio Partnerships, Stuart McCarthy, remarked on the latest signing:
“We are delighted to welcome Dreamtech Gaming to the YGS Masters family. Their unique take on Asian-themed content will perfectly complement our studio’s growing portfolio. The addition of Dreamtech to our burgeoning platform is consistent with our strategy to become the best global content publisher in the market, and we look forward to continuing to grow YGS Masters.”
Dreamtech Gaming's, Thomas Lu, added:
“We are very excited to be joining YGS Masters, which is rapidly developing a reputation as the industry-leading content curation programme. It gives us a unique opportunity to combine our state-of-the-art graphics and design with Yggdrasil’s market leading tools and strong market outreach. We can’t wait to introduce our upcoming games to all future partners and look forward to a long and fruitful partnership with Yggdrasil.”
The Swedish gaming brand recently made headlines with another major jackpot win on one of their games...
...as an unidentified Betsson Casino punter struck it big and won EUR 3.1 million playing Joker Millions slot that has already paid out large sums of money in the past.
The jackpot, won with a mere EUR 1.25 bet placed, prompted Yggdrasil CEO, Fredrik Elmqvist, to say that the entire company is pleased to award loyal fans with gigantic prizes and that he himself is thrilled this happened on a site that is one of their longest standing partners.
