Continent 8 Technologies to Strengthen LatAm Position with Upcoming Launch in Brazil

Back

Wanting to establish itself as a leader in fast-expanding online casino markets, Continent 8 Technologies, a renowned provider of hosting, connectivity, cloud, and cybersecurity solutions for the iGaming and online sports betting industry keeps entering new markets. The most recently conquered market is Brazil, a region that has gained the reputation of Latin America’s next iGaming frontier.

Following the official launch of the company’s premium-quality products which is expected to take place during summer this year, operators and suppliers in Brazil will benefit from the full suite of innovative and reliable digital and cloud infrastructure solutions. The package of top-performing tools also encompasses the Public Cloud, a customizable and scalable usage-based commercial model.

As cybersecurity represents a major concern for both operators and suppliers exploring business opportunities in Brazil, making this sector highly prone to attacks, Continent 8 Technology joins the market at the ideal moment. Its long-term Latin American and global growth strategy encompasses a wide spectrum of tools for local, technical, and regulatory support for diverse markets.

iGaming Market with Immense Potential

In addition to the Public Cloud, customers in Brazil will also gain access to Gaming Exchange, a powerful private internet that combines unrivaled speed, capacity, and security. On top of these assets, the mighty feature incorporates cybersecurity solutions that are designed to combat the rapidly changing threat landscape.

Luana Monje, Sales Executive at Continent 8 Technologies, shared her positive expectations on the launch in this burgeoning market of LatAm:

“Digital and cloud infrastructure is the foundation of any successful online business, and we are delighted to be launching in Brazil to support new and existing customers with our solutions and services as they make their move in the market.”

Proudly pointing out that the company’s been providing assistance to operators during launch in the emerging markets, Michael Tobin, Founder and CEO of Continent 8 Technologies, commented on the newest milestone as follows:

“This [Brazil] is a market that offers tremendous potential to both operators and suppliers, but they must have the right foundation in place to maximize the opportunities on the table. Continent 8 has the experience, expertise, and solutions to help businesses do just that.”

Cementing its position in the LatAm region, the company’s decision to move into Brazil follows several successful first-to-market approaches that took place in the previous period. In February 2022, the innovative solutions provider set foot in Puerto Rico, and it also set foot in Colombia and Peru.

Strengthening US Presence

Speaking of the first-to-market approach, Continent 8 had deployed the same strategy in the United States, so far establishing data centers in several US states.

In February 2024, the award-winning supplier celebrated the strategic launch in Vermont, by opening a data center in the Burlington region. Legalized in June 2023, the online sports betting market of Vermont is expected to bring approximately $7m in proceeds during the initial year.

At the end of the same month, the company opened an additional site in West Virginia, reinforcing its presence in the Mountain State. As a small reminder, the solutions developer went live in the market in 2018, just in time to welcome the official introduction of online sports betting that took place in August that year.
