Cyberslot Megaclusters is the second title in BTG’s new franchise Megaclusters™ and it is based on a new engine through SG Digital’s OpenGamingTM.
The latest installment follows Star Clusters, a game-changing release from June 2020, when Big Time Gaming presented its newest upgrade of the popular mechanic. This time, however, players are invited on a spectacular adventure in an explosive, action-packed, retro-space theme, available exclusively on 7 December via SG Digital’s industry leading platform.
Unlike its predecessor, Star Clusters, which made a debut last Summer, Cyberslot Megaclusters is a symbol-matching grid slot. Apart from marking the second title in the series with BTG’s unique Megaclusters mechanic, it begins on a smaller grid with just three rows and three columns.
Megaclusters is already becoming influential in the industry, as many software providers are starting to acquire rights to this revolutionary engine – Relax Gaming being just one of them.
The base game is also packed with planet symbols, while each extra spin starts out with nine rows and nine columns. As new Megaclusters mechanic progresses, every new symbol that forms part of a winning combo will split into four smaller images and create a larger number of Megaclusters.
Moreover, if a sequence appears within smaller symbols they would shatter and allow new ones to fall into their place until the combos are in stock. There can be up to 321 symbols during complimentary spins.
According to some slot specialists, Cyberslot Megaclusters offers a superb gaming experience, and here is what Nick Robinson, chief executive officer at Big Time Gaming had to say about it:
“Big Time Gaming is committed to using technology to explore new dynamics in online casino gaming and we feel the Megaclusters™ engine is taking our slots in a brave new direction.”
Johan Ekberg, group casino games manager at LeoVegas replied:
“Big Time Gaming are proven innovators and the Megaclusters™ mechanic is a great example of how gaming can be taken to a whole new level when you think outside the box. It’s a great honour to have the initial exclusive on Cyberslot Megaclusters™ and we know our players will go wild for it.”
Lastly, Dylan Slaney, senior vice president of Digital at Scientific Games added:
“We are hugely excited to see Cyberslot Megaclusters™ hit the market today. Building on the success of Star Clusters this new take on the blossoming mechanic is a great piece of game design. The OpenGaming team have pulled this one out the bag yet again to deliver the foundations of another truly great BTG title.”
In recent months, there has been an increased demand for Megaways, as more and more online software suppliers start to see the potential of its engine and algorithms. Among such providers is Microgaming, who decided to employ this system in major upcoming slots of 2021.
Other developers who acquired rights to use MEGAWAYS are also Blueprint Gaming, Relax Gaming, iSoftBet, Pragmatic Play and Stakelogic. All41Studios has also presented its offering with this mechanic on 24 November, called Shamrock Holmes.
