Aliante Casino Hotel and Spa, located in northern Las Vegas, has been officially acquired by Boyd Gaming, American gaming and hospitality company, based in Paradise, Nevada. The facility was purchased for $380 million, along with its holding company, ALST Casino Holdco.

The gaming facility is situated just 15 miles from the strip, and just a half hour drive from McCarran Airport. It first opened its doors in 2008, and is made up of an 82,000 square foot casino space. In addition to traditional casino games, the casino also boasts a race and sportsbook. Visitors can stay the night in an attached hotel, made up of 202 rooms, and movie theater and showroom have been implemented for further entertainment purposes.

Boyd Gaming purchased a total of 22 casinos across 7 states, with its latest focus being on Cannery Casino Resorts. The recent acquirement serves as the first for Boyd Gaming in northern Vegas, and its tenth across the entire Las Vegas Valley area.

Aliante will be managed by Kerrie Burke, currently serving as the property’s vice president, and general manager. Having been acquired by Boyd, the facility will become part of its Race and Sports Hub, offering a variety of sports odds. Customers of the casino will also have the opportunity to launch the company’s mobile sportsbook app.

Boyd Gaming president and chief executive, Keith Smith, commented "As the premier gaming asset in North Las Vegas, Aliante provides a tremendous opportunity to participate in the long-term growth of the northern part of the Las Vegas Valley. We see a bright future ahead for Aliante, and we look forward to working with its talented team members in helping the property realize its full potential."
