Bethard Extends SBTech Deal for Next Five Years

Bethard has extended its partnership with SBTech, describing the platform as a key driver of “exponential growth” in 2018. “Exponential” translates into a 324% year-on-year gross gaming revenue rise.

The operator especially underlines the impact of the platform’s pre-match and in-play betting features on its growth across major markets, including the UK.

Under the terms of the new agreement, Bethard will keep using SBTech’s sportsbook for the next five years.

Bethard’s “aggressive international expansion strategy” has seen the business secure licenses in the UK and Denmark and sign up Swedish football player Zlatan Ibrahimovic as a brand ambassador. “The Zlatan Challenge”, a unique World Cup prediction tournament, offers a total prize pool of €200,000.

The next year will be an important one, as the company has applied for a license for the re-regulated Swedish market.
