After conducting extensive research and collecting feedback from customers, 888’s next generation poker platform has received its first batch of upgrades, involving enhanced graphics, superb design and better functionality.
Poker 8 will be available to all desktop players across 888poker.com network, especially to multi-table customers, who will enjoy an improved user-friendly layout and simpler transitioning between tables.
888 Holdings senior vice president of B2C, Guy Cohen, said:
“We’re thrilled with the initial roll-out of our Poker 8 platform which includes a number of exciting and innovative new features to make the 888poker experience even more enjoyable.”
The poker platform will receive additional upgrades in the coming months, and the operator is working on the lobby as well as its mobile version. Cohen has also stated that players will benefit from all improvements and experience next-level entertainment:
“Over the coming months, all players will benefit from additional upgrades and improvements to our next generation poker platform and we’ll be taking on board customer feedback about the new features. Once the roll-out is complete, we believe our best-in-class platform will offer the most entertaining and engaging experience on the market.”
This month, the company has also acquired a portion of BetBright assets, allowing it to provide sports betting technology across several verticals. Itai Pazner, chief executive commented on the deal:
“This acquisition of a high-quality and scalable sportsbook is an exciting milestone for 888. It gives the group the missing piece in our proprietary product and technology portfolio and will enable 888 to own proprietary, end-to-end solutions across the four major online gaming verticals.”
Pazner added:
“With 888Sport becoming an increasingly established and popular worldwide sports betting destination, we believe it is the right time to take ownership of our full sports betting proposition. We are confident that this acquisition will increase the group's long-term prospects and differentiation in the growing global sports betting market.”
Among the arrangements in March is also the deal with Realistic Games, operating on the Dragonfish bingo network. Thanks to the agreement, players will gain access to popular HTML5 releases such as 8th Wonder, Tutankhamun Deluxe, Hot Cross Bunnies and more.
Here is what Robert Lee, commercial director at RG had to say about it:
“888 is one of the biggest brands in the industry and we are very excited to have signed up with another tier one operator that also powers an extensive list of B2B partner sites.
Our games have proven to be as popular with bingo players as they are with casino players and I have no doubt that they’ll be well-received.”
Head of commercial development at 888, Yaniv Sherman, is satisfied with the company’s decision to add another dimension of customers to the platform and says that Realstic’s games are becoming ever-more popular on the market.
