Skrill has plans to withdraw from Canada starting in January 2014.
CVC Capital Partners acquired the company earlier this year and notified Canadian members that their transactions will no longer be processed via email; however there were no reason given as to the reasoning behind this decision.
Speculation swirls around Skrill’s New Jersey license and the possibility that the growing US market may have something to do with the decision to pull out of Canada.
Another blow to the Canadian market is Titan Poker’s withdrawal from the country as of December 22nd.
